But on the flipside it makes for a hell of a trap game when there isn't enough forecheck talent on a team.
Also clogging the middle in the D zone becomes way easier.
To add, I think NLA is comparable to the AHL. Maybe slightly better. Weber posted 95 points (33 goals) in 155 games in the AHL. As well as the 21 points in 32 games in NLA.

I'm a Swede but I love Patrik Laine, huge talent. He is not a complete player yet but his offensive talent is amazing.
Weird how the only Swedes I can stand are the ones on NSH ;)

Dislike Landy though. Such a pretend- captain in my eyes, takes dumb penalties and starts scraps when he can't score.

I stand corrected.

Never say never. But he'd need to change his mind and SC Bern would need to let him go one year earlier. Since Genoni would be almost impossible to replace I don't think they would do it...

The NHL is absolutely full of trap and boring dump and chace constantly, to get past the constant trapping. I honestly hate the smaller ice surface. It’s a real pity that they play in the NHL with that idiotic small size rink. Of course I still watch the NHL because most of the best players in the world play there, but I still dont like what play style it makes many teams play. And also it’s much more luck based random pinball hockey, where players just shoot from wherever and hope for nice bounces for their team, because of the lack of time and space.

I honestly don't think so. They're good players but not really known as possession monsters. Who would you scratch? Maybe Rod or Baltisperger. Other than that? Quite difficult. It's a balanced forward group...
So you think a player who posted 52 points in the NHL wouldn't help? Nino, Meier, and Fiala have all helped immensely. Andrighetto was no where close to that and he's Switzerland's highest scorer and he missed a game.

Puis Suter, I haven't seen in NLA. Just saw he was a PPG. Saw him a ton in the OHL andand he was very much a possession player who was fantastic on faceoffs.

I love the small ice because it forces players to be fast. It's just infinitely better to watch a game where the distances never really become too large and there are constant battles for the puck IMO.
It gets dull at times but never to the extent some FEL games go.

I like the guy since he finished Calgary's version of the rat. Just wish that would happen more often...if it did, he might stop with his crap...
