Weber isn't an upgrade over anyone of their D-men on my opinion. He was a complete offensive and defensive black hole despite playing sheltered minutes for NSH.

We'd have to see that happen as well. I'm not convinced at all that most of the 3rd pair players would be godlike in Europe, they're not scoring players and do not become ones that score in a weaker league.

Crazy game yesterday, while Sweden's game was over early.

Sbisa, Weber, Hirschier, Suter. A lot of good players for Switzerland not here.

Suter and Hischier are very good players but wouldn't really upgrade that forward group by much. Switzerland has four well balanced forward lines. Not having Sbisa and Weber hurts. I said that before. And, I mentioned that as well, I think they selected the wrong replacements. It's still easily the best Swiss team probably in forever.

Yannick Weber is a good shooter and dominates the AHL though. Maybe he’d be good?

That's untrue. Weber was injured for most of the season...probably why they selected Fiala over him. Despite being banged up, Weber played some games over Irwin in the playoffs...tells you all you need to know.
