Yes I know it's a minority but they're just very loud and possibly I'm worrying for nothing, but if Switzerland go up by one or two, then Sweden is in trouble trying to chase the Swiss. Humility must be maintained to not challenge the Hockey Gods.

Swedes were hooking, slashing, interfering and tripping Canadians all game long. That's simply the reality. If you want to do the typical sore loser thing and blame it on some reffing conspiracy lol go right ahead but you're only fooling yourself.

I suggest you do the same... and there is no team in the world that play as dirty as Canada you literally going in to injury other teams players and get away with it... and that last WJC Canada should have had just as many penalties as Sweden had... If that would have been a football game the Ref would moste likely have ended his carrer just like this dude that was doing the exact same thing in the CL

Post wise, I might incline to agree you're correct in that the boastful posts have been overrepresentated. They indirectly insult the Swiss team, which you feel happy about. I also am of the opinion that it's disrespectful to boast on a general forum. That's dying Swedish culture for you, to boast in Swedish culture was originally not ok.

So calm down, grab another beer and know that the Swiss team certainly has the respect from the Swedish team and a clear majority of its fans (unless they're drunk and young).

Geez, get this game going already will ya.

It was scheduled for 10:30 and its after 11 already and the jets game starts at 12, now I am going to have to be going back and forth between those 2 games for longer then I had originally anticipated.

It was always 10:30 for you for the entire pregame talk, but the puck drops 45 minutes later. We're close now. Didn't you check the orginal post?
 
They should just keep on shooting from everywhere. Nilsson sucks. He's big but his mobility and skillset are highly questionable. He'll let in a weak one sooner or later.

No I didnt check anything other then when it says game start time.

anyway, doesnt matter now..........looks like puck drop is just about to happen, finally!!

The weaker teams are definitely improving and its great to see. Its also wonderful how much better the Swiss are now than before. The more competition the better.

More people into hockey? That's gonna be difficult in Switzerland. I don't think there are more people into hockey worldwide...except in Canada of course...Switzerland is a very small country but hockey is team sport nr.1 or 2 in pretty much every city/town. Stadiums are mostly pretty full.

Great to see and thanks for sharing. I did mean more that maybe if finally someone else win gold, outside of the usual suspects, it could have a positive impact on the game as a whole.
 
The Swiss continuing to do what they`ve been doing, hard forecheck and battle......................they look real loose and unencumbered by expectations, good start for them so far.
