How big game this is for swiss people in general? Is there big hype around ice hockey right now?

I hope switzerland takes it.
 
I believe we'll take this one. We don't need the best team to win, somehow we usually make it happen anyway.

To be honest, this years team is bad compared to the teams we used to have with Forsberg, Sedins, Bäckström, Sundin, Lidström etc.

Our best players now are F. Forsberg and Zibanejad and they are far from the level of the players mentioned above. But we work well as a group and every players does his job.

Eh on paper this is perhaps the best Swedish WC team ever.

Yes.
But it isnt just players that decide a game of hockey. Its luck too. Its so many things that can happen

On Paper Klingberg and OEL are our best players followed by Forsberg and Rakell. And if you make player to player comparisons you’ll find that there have indeed been teams where the top end talent has been better like Peter Forsberg and Mats Sundin, but we have never had a WHC team with more depth.

They need to hold it together now and not get frustrated this will be tight.
 
The swedish defence is absolutely scary. SC winner material!
It will be very very very tough for Switzerland, but who knows?
 
I don't think medics are just going to roll over and die, we could be in for a fun final.

I don't think it's so much worse. We have no stars on offense, but we have very deep quality lines, very modern as to speak. I mean, which line is the opponents supposed to match their best defensive line against? The Zibanejad line, the Backlund line or the Nashville line? Also, our defense is much better than what anyone has in this tournament. I mean, Ekholm on the 3rd pairing? Come on, that's pretty deep.

As for the game, it's only one game, anything can happen, but I like Sweden's chances. We beat the Swiss team in the group stage and now we have added some players. They have a good team, they're in the finals for a reason, but I think we beat them.
 
Sweden is the obvious favorite here, but if the Swiss score first there could be some trouble.

When Finland won Sweden in 2011 Finals, some of you guys even made topic "Importance of World Championships" right after the loss Final, to discuss how little you actually care about WHC.

Marjamäki has sucked though, he has made losing art for us. He is now recorded the worst ever coach in country history.. It makes last years pretty bad. Im so happy to get rid of him.

But in big picture, I dont see Sweden that kind of beast that cant be beat anymore.. its past times these days. But I would tend to think that for Swiss, you definitely are that.. that was the whole point
