I agree.
I want to like Darnell Nurse. I want him to not be a liability out there.
The frustrating part is that he has the physical tools to be much better than he is but he just cant think the game at a high enough level.
He most definitely isnt a #1 dman and I think that the only reason people thought that prior to Ekholms arrival was because there wasnt a better dman on the team at that time.
That was a statement on how poor this defence really was.
Now the the team has a legit top pairing its clear what Nurse is and its a long ways from a #1 dman.
So now we have the contract. $9.25M being eaten up by a player that needs to be babysat.
Nurse is a handicap...he is a liability. It should be the opposite.
We should be having conversations around putting players like Ceci with Nurse because they are struggling and Nurse will help them. Instead it just amplifies the stupid.

In the biggest game of this McDavid era team so far we cant even rely on the teams highest paid dman to make the smart play...the obvious play.
We cant expect him to actually learn. He just repeats the same idiocy over and over again.
It absolutely maddening.

I have no idea, but she didn't seem very happy to be doing the interview and she said she's basically been in working and in hiding since. She's catching crap at work in the fields.

To be fair, she doesn't seem that "intelligent" she can't understand why it got so big, she also confirmed they are fake.
Honestly that sucks for her. Hopefully things settle down for her soon. With that much interest in her she could probably do an OF and make a killing if she wanted to profit off of it.

The woman that flashed her breasts at the watch party is being interview on Spitting chickletts live right now and it's clear she regrets it. It's so sad.
Its so sad our society makes such a big deal out of something like that. people should be more comfortable around that and not act like its the first pair they've ever seen.

Its sad too how much we monetize female anatomy and how much females are weaponized to just use their bare bodies for fame or gain or profit. I blame all the influencer *role models* and stars and performers for that as well. So many of todays female stars are basically no talent dry humpers. Reared by the likes of Madonna, excuse pun.

We're a morally bankrupt society.

Yeah...that didnt help.
Why he was ever compared with Seth Jones is a mystery though.
There was this fantasy narrative at the time that undeservedly pumped up Darnell's tires.

Spittin' Chiclets are the only people she's spoken to online. She appears around the midway point in today's episode (Episode 505 titled "Game 1 Recap").

She works in the oil fields.

Features the type of crass questions you would expect from that pod like "why'd you whip out your tits?"

And of course, you also get an answer to "are they real".

She has gone into hiding and has apparently deleted her social media accounts. She hasn't followed up with any of the offers that were made to her by adult sites but has read about them. Says she's not interested.

Confirms that she doesn't know the person who took the video, who was just filming the crowd at that moment and she happened to be in the viewing angle. When she saw that the clip was posted on Twitter, she contacted them to have it deleted and they did but of course, nothing ever gets deleted once it's posted online.

She seemed to warm up to the interview as it went on. She started it wearing huge sunglasses but eventually took them off and seemed more relaxed by the end of it.
Appearing on spittin chicklets isn't exactly going into hiding. Gonna make it hard in her job as well now. Just a young person making a dumb impulsive decision. Anytime you do anything now you can just assume there could be pictures or somebody recording it. Naive for her to think somebody around wasn't going to be recording that moment.

If she really wants this to be over, and really it never is, she should avoid public speaking engagements about it. Should probably be getting some kind of counsel around this now as well as the attention will be relentless, and at work.

Speaking of Madonna, every now and then I'll see her on TV still acting like and dressing like she's in her 20's. Barf.

High is how you beat Bob... Look back at the NYR and BOS series, he gave up goals high.
It's a problem for us because Connor hasn't had his shot all year. Nuge loves to shoot between the blocker and the pad and to be fair tried to score high last game but missed. Not many one shot scorers on this team that are healthy right now.

Yes, the endless debate over this guy needs to take a breather.

He's got a lot of physical tools but he's really a 2nd pairing guy who is being relied upon too much. There is 6 years left on his mega-deal but its just something the club will have to live with. Virtually every team in the league has these contract issue mistakes. It's all part of today's NHL economics and inflated salaries.

Bad news for the crews claiming we can't hang with them. Nurse ceci sucks but I mean, you don't score any goals it doesn't really matter anyway.

Bob won't play that forever, they'll find away through. Probably better not to get some late bs push, makes it easier for them to swallow. This way they'll be even more motivated

Could never stand her. Modeling sex for profit for whole generations. She thought she was groundbreaking. Blonde sexpots have been around since celluloid and earlier than that. More the case its the oldest profession. That Madonna would limit her gender to that and figure she was a feminist doing it. How deluded. But whole generations have been around that figure she is a deity. In my line of work you cringe when top stars like that come along because you know how it will impact impressionable others.

Kane, Perry (but Perry should probably come out), Ekholm, Nurse (when he chooses to be physical…), Draisaitl (but shouldn’t have to be overly physical) and Carrick (should come in), Desharnais (will still probably sit) would be the more physical players. I’d like to see Carrick in for Perry
Thanks. Need to send a message on Monday. Trading shots on Barkov is effective... Tkachuk loves it, best to ignore him...

FLA fans are insufferable... If they win this thing those of us in FL will never hear the end of it. Draisaitl better heat up! He started playoffs strong, seems to have tailed off as of late. Need him to go on one of his take over the game superman rolls...

Yup and after hearing all about Floridas speed...they were clearly the slower team in that game.

Ironically Kostin is somebody that typically shoots high and would beat Bobo. heh Would've added him at TDL over Carrick.

When we played them we were shooting, scoring high and forcing Bob to go acrobat, but Maurice went Ref bitching had 3 goals pulled down. Close ass calls, no way they are called in the later rounds. Hate this format, facing FLA in the first round was the worst match up for the Bolts.

If EDM, we don't get to see you guys much on the East Coast, is a passing, skating team like the Bolts, the swinging sticks and constant chipping is going to be an issue.

Battle of Florida like the Battle of Alberta, always ABC (Anyone But Calgary) here so know the feeling. Having two former Flames on their team makes it familiar. 100% agreed Draisaitl needs to start producing again (McDavid too for that matter). Think someone posted earlier in the thread that they both have only 3 goals in the last 12 games. Depth production has been solid but will be tough without them finding some net.

Sorry, but a Bolts fan complaining about officiating and league treatment in reference to your club? you might want to tone that down here, just saying..;)

The Oilers outshot the Panthers aaaaaaand that's about it. To a degree, you can say they outplayed them.
However:
The Oilers powerplay, was shutout.
Panthers outhit the Oilers 57-32
Panthers blocked shots to the Oilers 21-15
Panthers led in takeaways 11-4
Panthers led as well in faceoffs 34-23

The Panthers are 6-2 on the road.
The officiating was borderline ok.
For the NHL...borderline is an achievement.
(Missed two Panthers slashing McDavid on the hands on an end to end rush but....not surprising)

The Panthers have the ability to be outplayed but still come on top.
Noted, Cousins and Lomberg were healthy scratches last night. They will be seeing some playing time (my guess game 3) and when they do all they do is hit, hit, hit and they do not care who they hit either.

A weak backcheck by Hyman and a spectator play by Nurse were noticeable but only winning about 30% on the dot was not a good look either.

Hopefully the Oilers can solve Bob. He flops too early on breakaways when being deaked, his five hole can be exposed and his glovehand(high) is a questionable.

Go Oil!

TKA stat is both misleading and pretty badly tabulated by NHL. Hit stats as well. Drai picked around 6 pucks yesterday, made reverse hits several times. NHL Miscellaneous stats are pretty much fiction.

TKA as well misleading because when you have the puck most of the time its increasing chances of GVA vs TKA.

Some coaches also subscribe that hitting is an attribute of not having puck. I don't buy the latter, just saying.

Lomberg hasn't been playing much at all this playoffs so indicative that they've finally realized the guy can't play hockey and can't be out there. For the Oilers they would want guys like that to be out there.

You missed some other things that don't get tabulated but should be. For instance Panthers allowing 3 breakaways, clear breaks, and multiple other times losing contain allowing Oilers to walk right in on net.

The Oilers outplayed by a vast margin. Bobo is a superstar level goalie.

As far as the dot Both Drai and McD have multiple injuries and including impacting their shooting and faceoff ability right now.
