Victims of Pierre Dorion Support Group meeting tonight. The food court in Hazeldean Mall, 731pm, wear black arm bands. Free boneless wings from Chicken Ranch for the first 18 people.

That should guarantee 18 people show up assuming the walk from the parking lot is close and this light rain stops.

You see egotistical power tripper, others see strong decisive decision maker... Tomato, tomahtoe, potato, potahtoe

PD is balding, overweight and probably (certainly) the lowest paid GM in the NHL. How anyone is surprised that he has developed little man syndrome is beyond me.

Is it positive, though? It paints Dorion as an egotistical power-tripper who can't stand being challenged.
I think we can be pretty positive that is true. I think its great some one wrote about it . Positive. It could gain traction. Positive. Maybe Dorion will feel he has to defend it. Faint glimmer of hope.. Hope is positive.

I think the part on McGuire being instrumental in getting Tkachuk signed is positive.

Sorry the lol was supposed to give away that it was a joke

Ope, then that's a big whoosh on my behalf. Carry on!

If I was on the fence and had an option for "virtual attendance" (like on a screen at home from a comfortable chair and preferred low cost snacks with no additional entrance fees), 40 minutes in traffic + 15 minute walk/line to get in + 15 min walk back to car + 30 minutes to get out of parking lot +30 min home in traffic might influence my decision making!

Also, I like to go to bed early.

But that's just me. Times are approximate.

Note: I am a real fan, but of the team, not the GM.

I do not know if it's real or not but it paints an accurate picture of Dorions psyche based on the last 5 years.

Dorion is a weak weak man.

Ya … I’ll only sit in traffic for $1 Gatineau Costco Beer. I’m a real fan too.

We have Dorion because that’s all that we can justify paying and attract to the market . He’s a glorified head scout. GM’s don’t grow up dreaming of using low income support revenue to build a cup winner.

I guess when you're a total failure it's reassuring to know you too can succeed. If Pierre Dorion can fail up, why not me?

Do you have any proof of this, or are you just making it up to try and start something? Put the lighter down.

Do I have proof we are a low income team on an internal budget ? Yes … one way or another money to pay for hot water or GM’s limits player salaries.

We’ve had stories in the past of executives willing to work for the org but not move to Ottawa. Getting executive talent to move to Ottawa is as challenging as it is to get UFA’s here. There are other hockey jobs in other markets that pay similar rates.

Do you have any proof that any “great”GM’s want to come here and build a winner off low income assistance ?

We have Dorion because he is the type Melnyk liked, cheap and cowering.

The writing and substance is really bad. It reads like teenaged girls gossiping about the latest drama.

yea doesnt pass the smell test. Just cuz theres some things in it people want to believe is true doesn't miraculously make this dude a legit insider. (not saying people here are doing that, but you know the internet. People wanna believe what they want to believe with or without facts.)

Yeah for sure. There may be nuggets of truth in there somewhere, as there is a sprinkling of facts that we all knew already, to move the plot forward.

Personally I would be interested in reading how it went down one day, but only if an adult writes it. I’d prefer a professional writer if I’m given more of a choice.

So no you don't. Just making it up. Keep flicking the Bic.

I haven't made any claims great GM want to come here, so I have nothing to prove. I didn't make stuff up either.

It really did read like something you'd see here.
