You can tell they’re trying to feed JAD for that first goal.

What a game for Jack Campbell, and solid yet again. This kid has come a long way from his struggles in Dallas to where he’s at now.

Another one of Ranford’s miracle turnovers.

Imoo, too.

And not to take things away from Ranford and Imoo, but the Stars have to be one of the worst teams to develop goaltenders. I think they just set him up to fail.

Kings won't win many games like this. Getting outplayed and hoping for Campbell to carry this team isn't right.

I missed the game but reading some of the posts by others the Kings struggled a bit playing against the rebuilding Montreal Canadiens concerning.

I wouldn't say they got thoroughly outplayed, but it's a bad rebuilding team who put up a lot of shots and had possession of the puck to much.

The Kings defense has some issues for the half the game Drew doesn't play. Having Forbort/LaDue with the 4th line is not optimal.

Nah, it's probably more that the Kings are now the kind of team that we used to make fun of in the Sutter era. They're not a possession by shot team, and it's more about scoring on the chances, shot totals either way be damned. They're not the Sutter Kings anymore, no matter how much people think Stevens is Sutter. The defense is different. The forwards are different. They weren't a Sutter team last year either. Despite the lack of talent, they're not a grind it out team. That's probably why so many see them as a team without an identity. They're in between, but fans wanted Sutter gone as much as the players did.

Agreed, but this is also the same team that destroyed Pittsburg and outplayed Toronto and stole a point.

Most of their shots were perimeter shots same as LA, it wasnt a clean game by any stretch and muzzin, Lewis struggled but as a whole that was a good game. Great showing by JAD, and amadio

Amadio and Kempe with goals, JAD with an assist. Iafallo with 4 points in 4 games.

I'd say the young guys are contributing.

JAD may have sealed a spot in the lineup. Amadio got a respectable 13min of ice time tonight. He's ready for a prevalent role on the team. I think Wagner will get sent down.

Kings shelled a bit in the third but were not outplayed.

Beat a team they should beat tho.

Two points, on to the next game.

Congrats JAD and Campbell!

Probably he wasnt supposed to make the team to begin with,

Be really interesting to see if they keep the lines together for ottawa

Hence they got outplayed, not dominated. The habs had numerous good chances, more possession, forced a lot of turnovers.

Kings defense was bad, Campbell was great. The Kings were lucky that they converted on the few chances they had.

I'm happy for the win. But this is the Habs, they shouldn't be getting outplayed by them.

Muzzin struggled but covered it up by blocking shots and the fourth line struggled , but the new third line did pretty well and kempe was flying ,not sure having been outshot with most coming from the outside is being out played but what do I know
