Penguins parted with Flower after winning back to back cups with a younger better goalie.
Kings will be lucky to get a Murray.
Why? Because it's called "Hockey's Future" boards. Two in the bush is always better than one in the hand here. Why does everyone want to trade Quick all of a sudden? Have we all forgotten the "pre-Quick" era?! Not sure about anyone else, but I don't want to go through a nightmare like that again. Fiset, Cloutier, Chekmanek among others. Nope, I'll keep Quick. When Peterson (or someone else) can beat Quick out of his position as a starter, THEN we can think about trading him.
Hi Kings fans, I come in peace.
Just a quick question, how has Ilya Kovalchuk looked so far? How many points do you think he'll score this season based off his play so far?
Yes, the same one that won 2-3 cups. You mean Matt "Currently on IR for the hundredth time at age 24 and never played more than 49 games" Murray?
He has looked good so far. He makes creative plays (I didn't even know he was a good play maker), drive through the center of the ice, and is getting good shots through. I can see him getting 50 points.
Point is people are unhappy about Quick’s injury problems in his 30’s while Murray is having plenty of them of his own before turning 25.Yes, the same one that won 2-3 cups.
LA hopes Petterson can become at least a Murray.
Kovalchuk does not look like a 50 point player so far, looks more like someone who could get around 65-70.
