I don't even want to fight. Some of you GG defenders just defend a few things. Explain it to me so I can understand it.

1) 4th line ozone faceoffs ALL the time
2) Treating line 3 like it's line 4 minutes wise
3) Putting in Rooney over Hunt or Brodz
4) Trouba on PP2 (not that it mattered today cause we don't get PP's)
For 2...Why is it a mandate that the Messier line gets more minutes than the Gilbert line (I've outlawed using line numbers)?

We’re 2 wins away from knocking off the back to back cup champions and going to the SCF
That's true, but can you answer any of the questions I had?

At the very least he does inexcusable things and repeats those mistakes. Copp's been a no show this series and he basically has the ice time of Laf + Kakko.

I think if you read through GDT’s you’d see fans of every cup winning team complaining about their coach and his usage of players though lol. I’m sure he has his reasons, us fans especially on here also care more about our young players and their development. Coaches put out there whoever they think gives them the best chance of winning

How many cup winning teams have Kevin Rooney's though? Haha.

Special Teams and Goaltending were excellent.

Everything else is average to well below average.... that could be considered generous too.

Gallant reminds me a lot of Strome. I really like the guy. Great for the locker room. The on-ice product/decision making leaves A LOT to be desired.

we already pretty terrible at scoring other than PP, so I doubt he would hurt us offensively much, but would help a ton defensively.

We need to be helped offensively. Any coach I hire, if Gallant was to be fired, has to be good at scheming offensive production.

And developing kids.

team looks dead in an elimination game. Time to interview other coaches. This is unacceptable. Gallant already choked in 5 games to Trotz's Capitals in Stanley Cup finals.

You, person reading this, you wanted Gallant. Why should I trust you now that you want to get rid of him and make a new hire?

to lose 4 in a row in Eastern Conference Finals after winning all games prior including regular season shows you just got badly outcoached by a superior intellect.
