I’m not so sure about that part.
Gorton wanted Eichel but not while giving up big pieces.
His best offer I think was nils, vk, buch and 2 firsts.

That doesn’t strip the current core. We then could’ve flipped Mika for futures.

That being said drury made the right call re-signing Mika.

And thats the reason I said Turk would destroy Tony. Deangelo is a decent fighter but ive never seen him throw punches like Turk.

It wasn't 3 games. It was on the 21st after we were down 0-2. Regardless I will tell you "specifically" what Gallant has done but let me warn you unless you are an expert in analytics or have a PHD from MIT (majoring in statistics) , you may find this difficult to understand. You asked for specifics........here they are : HE WINS !

Gallant had Probert with him in a local bar I used to attend every Fri-Sat night a few years ago on PEI....I was standing at the bottom of the steps when I noticed them coming down them....they looked to be both ripped . They were in their prime at that time . Probert was a formidable presence . LOL....I never went anywhere near him .....he never looked approachable in my eyes . Just an absolutely scary man back in the day . Gallant had brought some Red Wing friends to town for a Celebrity Golf event that still is one of the best in Eastern Canada and is now held at our local golf course .

one thing about turk that I think is big for where this team is and where it may go this post season is he has more or less refused to run 4 d even in all the elimination games. he has gone spurts of rolling with 4 but he hasnt done it over the entirety of 5 elimination games like we have seen some other coaches panic and do in the past. he has let schneider play through this all and avoided panicking back to the veteran nemeth. as we get into this next series having 3 d pairs that can play and having allowed the 20 year old to grow through the pains earlier in the post season will be huge. you have no chance beating tb with 4 d, and especially with lindgren being held together with clear tape...

It shouldn't matter who is on PP2 because they should not exceed 0:00 TOI on the PP (barring a long PP which didn't come into play as the penalty was 90 seconds into it).

LOL, you telling me that Kevyn Adams took Tuch, Krebs, a 1st and 2nd over that? Buch > Tuch, Two 1sts greater than a conditional 1st+2nd, Nils+VK >>> Krebs. It was probably a combo of those pieces. No way all of them.
