We do have pretty deep pool

Yeah, it's nice for a change. Hopefully some of the non-first round guys continue to progress, put pressure up the lineup and give them future options. One of the nice things about Nadeau and Bloom is that they aren't small and in Bloom's case, he plays with pace like most of the smaller guys do. Having different skillsets woven into their stable is a good thing.

Yeah, I hear that. I'm also trying to remain "fine" if they do make a deal that winds up being some version of a prospect for player deal where the prospect shipped has a long career elsewhere. It's bound to happen in this set up. But if they can get to the level of some of the Eastern powers, then having good players shuffle off while still being a good team for a long time themselves is cool. Tampa's ability to just keep core guys and shuffle people around is certainly a blueprint for that.

Yeah like rosen in a deal for chych seems like the exact move and I wish a 2nd and a 4th would be equal value but at the end of the day it just isn't which sucks

The Ice are tied while I was off watching the VanCan's win. Savoie with an assist on another McClennon goal.

Savoie screening in front, McClennon scores another, putting the Ice up 6-5. Wait, 7-5... :biglaugh: Pederson gets one immediately after the faceoff.

ha, the Q had already said "no punishment, we couldn't find any unbiased accounts"
whoops, everything is filmed always

Theres a really unfortunately poor quality video on the prospects up from locked on sabres, Hadi Kalakeche came on but his connection was terrible and choppy. Highlight though is that he rates Ostlund as our top prospect right now. Put them in reverse order of draft. Also, was pleased with Rosen. The audio was awful so its possible i misheard some things.

I think... really tough audio.

Rough first period for the #1 Gophers in terms of shots - 17-2 in favor of the Badgers so far - but Cooley scored on the 2nd shot from Minny.

Lacombe opened the game taking a major in the first minute of the game which has Minny on their back foot. But they are still up which is testament to how good they are.

Reverse order of the draft would have Kulich #1

Nadeau scored a second goal, short handed into an empty net to salt the game away for Gatineau. Six goals and an assist is a productive couple of games.

Thinking the Ice might back off a bit, but they put 17 shots on Oil Kings' replacement tender Colby Hoy in the second period.
