Agreed on Rosen. Kulich 90% he's still in Roch to start. Biro, they have to figure out if he's the 1C you seek.

I see the forwards breaking like this atm.

Mersch still draws into the lineup as captain (for now); Jobst is a 13th guy. That leaves 1 spot, and potentially 4 guys, 2 with no AHL experience, as candidates for it (or an UFA to bolster the lineup)
Does Ostlund come over next year? They might leave him in Sweden for one more year.

There's 4 prospects to this point that I don't wish to trade.

Kulich, who I think one day replaces Skinner in line 1.
Savoie, who I think one day dominates on a line with Cozens or Krebs
Levi, who I think is our starting goalie in 25-26.
Nadeau, who I think infuses our bottom 6 with something we desperately need.

It would have to be a serious deal to pull away Ostlund or Rosen, but it can be done. I'd prefer to keep the above 4.

Interesting thought experiment. I would say the only one I have in the untouchable category would be Levi even if that might be the most volatile or lengthy development position. In sliding scale from there, everyone else would be touchable but it would have to be eyepopping to move some of them more than others. Savoie would be my most untouchable, then Kulich and Ostlund about tied, then Rosen who is on the border of "you can touch it but break it and you buy it" territory.

I love what Nadeau does in tight spaces. They haven't had a guy like him capable of creating in traffic or along the walls and dedicated to net-front play since Kassian was in junior. But I admit that the specter of another stocky Q scorer with heavier feet haunts my viewings of Nadeau: Luke Adam. Not a direct comp, just my natural pessimism. He's like found money yet I need to see what he can do against men when his size advantages shift toward being neutralized.

I decided not the use the word 'untouchable', because of course none of them are in the right deal (a very unlikely right deal I imagine);

I'll say this. I'm not trying to lose any of those 4 in a Chychrun trade, and since LAK seemingly said piss off with Clarke, they at least agree to an extent (Savoie would be our Clarke).

If I'm Adams shaping this team though, he has so many damn assets of value, I'd avoid putting these 4 up.

Classic Winnipeg Ice - rolling out to a 3-0 lead and goals from two different lines (none from Savoie's... yet).

anyone below cozens is available for me with the exception of Levi, if you're putting 3,4,5+ prospects on a no trade list you just dont want to make a trade

I also think you're overvaluing our prospects, or at least the liklihood of them hitting your lofty expectations

Tim Kennedy (player development coach) was interviewed by Don Stevens.
He said he works with forwards. They talk with them and their coaches. Break down video for them. Visit them and their families. He said they can go on the ice with CHL players. Basically help them on and off the ice to reach the next level.

Mentioned these players he works with:

Ostland
Neuchev
Nadeau
Constantini
Marjala
Konecny
Van Barnekow

I would add Josh Bloom to the mix.Size, good skater, plays all forward positions ,kills penalties. Can play a power game and be a glue guy on an offensive line or a grinder on an energy line

Do the colors mean anything in your example? Just wondering

Ahhh yes the “semi” prospect. Has potential but never feels like they got enough of a chance in the NHL due to bad linemates, shitty teams, or just not enough games/minutes.

First It was Baptiste and Bailey

Then CJ Smith and Sean Malone

Now it’s Murray and Weissbach

I feel like there’s always a few of these types of prospects in the system.
