I'm nearing the end of Lost Judgment, it's probably my second favorite game in the Yakuza universe now. The side stuff is really good and the combat is super smooth. I got Tales of Arise on deck, it's been awhile since I dove into a JRPG (I think Bravely Default 2 was the last one). Almost done with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and it's a great game, definitely leans into the vania part of Metroidvania, so if you're looking for more fighting then precision jumping puzzles, check it out when it's on sale.

Yeah, @Andrei79, I'd start the DLC before you level up anymore if you want it to still be a challenge. I beat the final and consensus hardest boss in the entire game in my first attempt last night .

I've already gotten past Vicar Amelia in NG+, so I'm ready to retry the DLC. Made pretty quick of it, but can definitely notice the enemies are hitting a lot harder and their health is higher considering how leveled up my character and weapon are. Curious to see how hard the DLC bosses will be now.

I've started it on BL80 and it hasn't been that bad at all up to now. I heard the hunters were a bitch, but while challenging, they're not that bad. Very nice DLC up to now.

I started it on NG+. I wanted to test the difficulty against some of the hunters. They definitely hurt when they hit you, but I thought "Shit, this still isn't going to be difficult enough." Wrong. Level 130 wasn't high enough for me against the first couple of bosses .

Just started playing Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous and so far I'm loving it. The last RPG I enjoyed to this level was Divinity Original Sin 2.

Started playing God of War now that it's on PC and it's... good. It's a pretty enjoyable game so far but I do not see what the buzz is about. The camera is atrocious IMO. Gameplay is good. I'm hoping the story picks up a bit more.

The buzz pretty much was the graphics and the cinematic flourishes and gimmicks.

It depends on your definition of "pick up". No spoilers but this one is a very down to earth lower stakes story. It's GoW if Dom Toretti wrote it. It's about family.

But I should clarify, I do also find this game overrated. I give it like a 7.5/10 the bosses just are too few and not as quality and I also dislike the camera.

Yeah, I bought it with a buddy of mine because we have Steam family sharing so we just split the cost. I was actually telling him I'm in Alfheim and so far I'd give it a 7.5/10 lol.

I always hate when people rate games high because of graphics and cinematics. I don't want spoilers so I'm hoping the story can redeem the game a bit but so far, I'm pretty disappointed. I'd probably be enjoying it a lot more if I didn't go in with high expectations as people were raving about the game for years now.

If you are that far into it, it's probably not going to change for you.

For me, I played it on PS5 and it was the first video game of any kind I had played in about 10 years and I don't even know how long since I played something that wasn't NHL or CoD online. So I was pretty blown away by everything. Having played a bunch of games since and looking back now, the biggest criticism I'd have is the bosses in the main story or the lack thereof.

I don't know anything about PC gaming, so maybe this is misguided, but one thing about playing it on PS5 was the rumble from the controller when you recall the ax. Probably simple and stupid, but I never got tired of that feeling and couldn't imagine how you replicate that with a keyboard/mouse.

Forgive me for being such a noob, but how do people create APK mods of games?

I've been playing FIFA 14 on android ever since it came out (last version to have offline career mode)

I've been wanting to play an 'updated' version of this, and I see mods everywhere of a FIFA 21/22 that is off the 'base' game of FIFA14.

I started playing American Truck Simulator a few days ago. Why is this so addictive? Following the rules of the road and waiting for traffic lights to turn green, not speeding and not damaging anything goes against my every instinct in a driving game. I tried Euro Truck Simulator 2 many years ago and thought that it was neat, but didn't play it very long, maybe because driving European roads wasn't familiar or comfortable. This is much more so and really feels like driving around the western States, which I've done a lot. It's funny: there's a point during each job when I get a little impatient to get to my destination and think about quitting for the night as soon as I deliver my load, but then I often end up starting a new job as soon as I do. I'm glad that I took one more job tonight, since I ended up transporting a small building, either a house or a site office, which I didn't even realize that you could do in this game. I got a police escort, could run red lights and could (and often had to) occupy two lanes. That was fun, despite never exceeding 45mph.

Installed Pubg since it went F2p. It makes you do a tutorial, 10 matches against bots only, and another tutorial before you get to play the game. Uninstall. What were they thinking?

Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel on PC

Haven't touched any other game since this surprise dropped a few days ago lol

I played this on Steam as well.

I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh back in the day and have played a fair bit of Duel Links in recent years, but I find Master Duel very overwhelming. There's just so many cards and I have never used pendulum or link summoning. I'm a confused old man

There are so many cards in the packs it's staggering. PvP....you might as well not bother if you didn't drop money right now it seems. At least don't go in with the starter decks and free packs.

Presentation is pretty great for a little free to play game.

Decided to try and tackle The Legend of Heroes series. Its a niche JRPG but its really well written and has some fantastic world building. Plus the turnbased combat is really well done. Highly recommend.

Anybody playing Hades?

friends just got me into it and it’s super addicting

Yes, I finished it last spring. It's very good. Probably the best roguelike I've played. The first time you beat the second to last boss and last boss is exhilarating. After that, everything gets easier. The game has a lot of depth too so you can put in as many hours as you want in it. I stopped after my 10th completed run, which was at my 28th run, but if I didn't have the backlog I do I might have put in more.

I've only played Cold Steel 1 and 2 but yeah, they're amazing. I kind of want to go back and play the Trails in the Sky games before I continue with the CS series, I really like the world.

Yeah, I originally started Trails of Cold Steel 1 but did some research and decided to start with Trails in the Sky. Gonna have to pace myself for this series I think lol.

Yeah its definitely overwhelming for returning players. I used to play back in 2011-2012 but have kept up with the game since. You can probably go without learning about Pendulums because nobody really uses them but Link summoning is pretty essential to the modern game. Either way it's awesome to finally get a video game rendition of the real game that actually looks and feels good to play like Duel Links.

As for PVP, yeah the decks and free packs suck but I think it's a lot easier to play for free in comparison to Duel Links because of the crafting system. I found you can get one good deck by just playing the solo mode for a while and getting the daily login bonuses. I have 15 hours played currently, probably 6 of those are playing the solo mode. With zero money invested I've built this Sky Striker deck which has taken me to Gold 4 with 0 losses so far.
