I've been a wait and see guy with Sweeney. He hasn't had enough time on the job yet IMO. I've liked a lot of what he's done. But I don't think he's done enough to improve the product in the present. You've made some good points...and I fear he's going to sink or swim with those picks. The thing is, he doesn't just need to hit on a few of them...which I think he will because there are some solid prospects there. BUT..he needs some home runs...#1 and #2 defencemen. That's a tall order!

I said it here a few times. He is riding on Charlie McAvoy. I agree with you.Homerun or Sweeney's days are over.Problem is he has shown an average ability at best making trades and signing contracts. Thus the on ice product suffers. He should have unloaded last year but that's hind sight. They went for the playoff gates and busted .Claude will be fired by year's end to save a bit of face for front office and bye time to wait on the prospects with fan base .Just a guess. The natives are restless

I really don't get this home record thing. I mean, it's not an isolated occurrence. It's TWO seasons now that they suck relative to road record. You can't just brush if off as an in season anomaly. There is SOMETHING there. But what the hell is it?!!

It would be nice if the fans were noisier....it is pathetic compared to other arenas. It reminds me of Toronto where only the rich can afford seats and they don't care much about cheering. I hate the Habs but that arena rocks. Not saying that is THE reason but getting the crowd going can affect visiting teams.

I picked fire Cam as I think canning Claude won`t do a bloody thing for this group but firing Cam and replacing him with someone who`s actually got legit experience could impact the team more quickly.

I think Neely puts constraints on things, an opinion not founded on any actual confirmation of course but..

I see a coaching change coming soon, just can`t/don`t see Cam and the Jacobs having the patience especially with Harry whispering in their ears

This team shouldn't be taking any team lightly, we aren't the Hawks or Penguins. IMO this is on the coaching staff.

How can this team look so good on Saturday and then stink up the joint like they did today?

I think it's time for a new direction, and a new Head Coach.

disagree respectfully for if he`s riding on McAvoy, he arrives next year IF all goes well and there`s not much point to not start selling off some extra baggage now (and there`s plenty)

Agree with you he should be unloading baggage He should started last year instead of adding more. When I mention McAvoy I refer to that is his top 4 D man addition in his mind. The stud player on backend he has failed to find in his tenure .Truth is I do not have a clue what Sweeney is doing or thinking.I can see no direction other then thread water while he waits for his draft picks. Its a mess..p.s Hope your Mooseheads do well for you. That Swiss player is some good.

If we had a solid lineup and were still this inconsistent I would put it squarely on the coach, but we simply don't have a solid 2nd or 3rd line. There's no combination that has resulted in real chemistry. Krejci and Backes continue to not have any mojo, Spooner is totally unpredictable, Nash has no offense - for me it's no surprise that the team is good one game and poor the next.

I think that a trade desperately needs to happen that allows us to have a Bergeron-Backes-Krejci three-line attack down the middle, but it's easier said than done.

Any fan who thinks the B's have a chance at the cup this year are not paying attention.

They are rebuilding even if they won't admit it.

I hope the B's make the first round of the playoffs because it would give all of the young players a chance to see what it is like.

Not going to pull the plug on Julien he tried pulling out all the stops this afternoon- IMO this loss is on the player leadership. Some real accountability is in order in the dressing room.

Cause its not a good team.More pressure to win at home. They are proving they cannot handle pressure.Easy to see ...Loose goosie on road.No pressure.

Most forget this, but the Bs had a worse home record than road record the year they won the Cup.

I go back a long way with this team. We never needed a Jumbotron to tell us when to make noise. And, you'll notice when the message goes away, so does the noise. Phony, manufactured automated hype.

I picked the wrong game for my first of the year. At this rate, and the $12.00 cost of beer, it could be my last.

Right on, and what was done about it??

Him and his lazy teammates including the coach gm and president should cut the fans a check for the rest of the 55 minutes they paid for. Except DKH he had some scouting to do. :)
