Him and his lazy teammates including the coach gm and president should cut the fans a check for the rest of the 55 minutes they paid for. Except DKH he had some scouting to do. :)

I want a check to

I was watching Beauvillier and Vatrano actually

Figured lets just follow the two 72's around the ice

What crowd gets behind a game like today?

I know but it would be fun if the crowd will try to carry the team not the other way around. I like that with European fans, hardcore organized fans never giving up, it's not happening always and i understand the difference of the situation.

I said earlier that today's second period was about as bad as I had ever seen the Bruins play at home.

The worst was in 1973 when the Islanders were just starting and they came into Boston after losing 12 in a row and the Bruins must have partied hard the night before. It was 5-0 Islanders after 1.

But at least in that game the Bruins woke up for the final 2 periods.

I am bitterly disappointed in today's game because I thought they had turned a corner.

As paradoxical as it sounds, i expect them to win against good teams and loose against bad, at the end of the day it's pretty much 0.500 hockey and not good enough. I felt they gonna loose today, the mission was 'too easy'.

Bipolar appearance, bipolar comments, nothing unexpected.

Yet that isn't sustainable over the course of an entire season as we found out last year. They go out west play a bunch of good teams, then come back to NY, lose I think 5 in a row, and it was pretty much over.

Then again, almost 1/5 of their total wins were vs. Buffalo. So they lay eggs against the supposed "bad" teams, except the Sabres. The bad news is Boston doesn't see Buffalo again.

My boys first ever Bruins game today, and this is the turd they had to watch!!! Thankfully I didn't pay for the tickets, but still it wasn't cheap. Not even a fight, scrap, shoving? Pathetic effort.

On the plus side the Isles are my second team, so it wasn't all bad I guess.

Sorry bud. I was thinking of you and your son and wondering how many kids walked away from that matinee day off school event and decided that video games are time better spent.

Agree. Watching Chara's post game interview, he just looked like he didn't like what he had for lunch.

In all fairness I think he was pretty angry. He snapped at a reporter for not letting him answer question -- and that's just not how he rolls.

This has to the worst performance of the year.

Really left themselves vulnerable in the standing with most teams having several games in hand.

Bruins are 12 overall in the league points wise but 18th percentage wise.

I was looking forward to today's game but my enthusiasm quickly evaporated.

Shame on you for looking forward to a home/matinee/vs. poor opponent game. Automatic disappointment.

You couldn't pay me to go to a game in that building right now.

The not ready to play line is bullcrap.

They looked decent the first ten minutes. Good actually.

Then they went to sleep and did nothing all game.

They're not good at responding to surges, I've been saying it all season. They've had this issue for in my opinion since 2013, whether or not the hard statistics show it

Whenever a team puts on a the heat, the Bruins tend to wilt. I'm not sure why exactly, or if it's just an illusion that's just truly due to their system and the way they tend to pack it in and just try to weather storms

Team not ready to play is more than just a coaching issue.

Well it's an issue and Claude needs to take some of the blame. A record of 11 losses and 10 wins will not cut it to make the playoffs. This trend of this team not showing up for home games has been a problem for awhile.

In 11 years as a STH I can count on one hand how many games I left early. Today was one of them. Disgusting performance made worse when I thought they turned the corner after the Flyers game.

Read that Bergeron said he knew 5 minutes into the game that the team had nothing. Thanks for stealing my hard earned money today.

This is disgusting. We need to clean house. From the top down.

Too bad there are no Brad Stevens of hockey out there for us to poach.. or is there?
At least the Celtics have a pretty good GM in DA who knows how to restructure an aging veteran team into a young winning team again.

The Bruins are stuck with the Laurel & Hardy team of Cam Neely and Don Sweeney. We are swamped in mediocrity and I'm sick of it.

I've seen enough of this season to know that this is what we get. Completely inconsistent performances with a few good looking games in between that make you think, maybe we could win if things weren't a complete mess.

This year they were unbeaten in 5 matinee games.

Sometimes you can sense a dud coming but I have to admit I expected an easy win today.

Jack Edwards was disgusted on the air this afternoon. That speaks volumes.

If ownership has given management a firm you better make the playoffs or else I fully expect them to do a panic trade this week, something like McAvoy and Bjork for Doan

Yeah, Sweeney has said they won't include McAvoy or Carlo for Landeskog, so instead they'll trade them for Doan. :shakehead

DA who held onto the big 3 too long when he was the only one who thought they still had a chance after 2009 or so?

Sorry bud. I was thinking of you and your son and wondering how many kids walked away from that matinee day off school event and decided that video games are time better spent.

We got home from the game around 5 pm and had power skating for my youngest sons team (I'm head coach). I wanted to skip as it was a long day and I skated last night. My son told me he was tired and hockey'd out. I should have made him go, but I got what he was saying and I went to practice myself. I didn't want to be there, but was glad I went. It was fun watching some kids that wanted to play. The bruins sure didn't (well most of them).
