We were nowhere near this bad against Carolina. Like it wasn't close. Only games I was pissed were game 5 and part of game 6. But we participated in a playoff match in every game. Even game 5. The debacle today and by all accounts last game was not worthy of the NHL playoffs. It was bush league. ECHL level garbage. I've never seen anything like that before.

There were back to back games in Carolina where they had like 97 total shots and 1 game where they had over 100 shot attempts so please don't tell me it's nonsense. It didn't matter in the end.

Yeah I know. We've been up against it all series, but it's not impossible. It'll take the top players actually stepping up and the refs not being Florida's 6th man... but after all is said and done, we're tied. It's doable.

I'm not going to go all "watch the game nerd" on you but if you actually watched the game you'd see us being competitive against Carolina in those games and their shot attempts were shit. Now not all of Florida's shot attempts were grade A but enough where it was basically complete domination.

That was a double OT game where the Rangers played them close, not similar at all. And the point is what’s going to change? I thought they were likely getting reverse swept after game 5. That said they played competitively with Hurricanes for the first 4 games (and game 6 from what I heard I missed most of it). We looked like a team that didn't always carry the play but was good at countering and had enough skill to make you pay. A generous interpretation was we were more skilled than Carolina but they have the better forecheck and system. We are not at an advantage over Florida anywhere but in net and Bobrovsky is capable.
