Chris Kreider is a soft - phony hockey player.
He’s a 6 3 220 tip artist that glides around and avoids contact like he’s above it.

Zibenjad is a head case - way too passive and scared -,soft .

KAM is softer than Tom Poti - he’s a pacifist that has never thrown a check in anger.
Soft

Fox - soft

Panarin - prancing scared - soft.

Chytil - soft

Getting pinned in 75 % of match. Soft

There’s nothing tough about us - we are easy to play against.

The entire foundation is built on the shoulders of players who avoid contact.

In the end this car won’t make it up the hill.

Sucked us in - broke our hearts

This dream is over

Despite our top line players not performing well with the exception of Laf and Trochek we almost won. If no power play for fla in o.t. we couldve scored and won like the prior game. Its true a lot of star players werent great but if they were great we'd have beaten fla badly every game.

Fla is a good team and even with our somewhat lousy top lines we're tied up 2-2 In the series.

Hopefully we can get better.

Also the refs, imo, have been screwing us. Like at the beginning of the game a fla player prodded Igor with his stick. Our player restrained him and then got a penalty. Was Kakko tripped towards end of game? Why no replay, why ignored?

Im hoping we rally here and win the next game at msg and take it from there.

Beating the dead horse on the top guys aside, they HAVE to find a way to get Lafreniere more ice time.

I don’t give a shit about PP, PKs, last change etc. 15 minutes for your most dangerous player all series is unacceptable.

It will be easier at home, but there will be a game 6 on the road regardless.

People, get some perspective - NYR had 114 points, Florida 110, and Carolina 111. These are the two toughest Eastern Conference opponents we could draw. They are every bit as good as us. Unfortunately, there were no major upsets in the first round that could help us. It is what it is.

2 of the next 3 are at home. We accomplished what we needed in Florida and that was to take back home ice.

We’re playing with half of a Norris Trophy defenseman and basically $20M in dead cap space between Trouba and Panarin.

It’s not surprising that they are getting caved and again, it’s going to take a Kreider-esque miracle to win this series.

They are a bunch of resilient motherf***ers riding a hot goalie though so this can absolutely happen.

Given the state of the D, at what point does it make more sense to dress another Dman (Jones) than it does a 12th forward?

It’s a best of 3. Find more ice time for Laf/Panarin/CK, we’re only going as far as they can take us. Sink or swim with them on the ice as much as possible and find some shifts off for Fox/Trouba

Mika is severely overpaid. Every series it’s always “mika has a tough matchup” “mika is overmatched”. Im not even asking for him to be the tough matchup for the opposition, im asking for him to just be a net neutral player

None, Jones won't play.

I don't buy the "D is tired" BS. They played 10 games coming into this series and have had breaks of 6 and 7 days.

Game 5 is a must win and they need to act like it is. Would also help if they can get a series altering play where someone smokes Bennett/Tkachuk/Barkov and KO's them for the series.

Also the big 3 needs to do something. Mika/Kreider have been awful in this series and while Panarin showed some signs, he can't continue to be the 3rd best player on his line.

If they think it’ll hurt mika’s feelings too much to come off PP1 then at least rotate mika and laff on pp1. Laff is our mvp of this series and is quickly turning into our best/most reliable player on the team. He needs po1 time. Hes the only one able to create anything

4th line needs more time. Rempe should play more than 6:17. Seemingly whenever theyre on the ice theyre controlling player. When theyre off the ice, we get just mauled and cant get out of our own end

A ton of truth in that reply . You can have a few passengers but guys that are over 6ft 200 pounds should not be among them at this time of year . Kreider deliberately let up on a chase which he was winning....into the Panther corner and let Montour arrive there first ......sad watching the chicken feathers appear . You get there absorb a hit and keep moving and make a play or at least an attempt at one.....you don't give up even if you are the cowering type . The Panthers certainly don't

Oh well.....maybe Shesty can steal 2 more for us . CBC analysts mentioned that the Rangers have not outplayed a club for 10 games now . I wish they would leave Rempe/Wheeler out and go with 7 D in Jones . Geesh.....they need help desperately and we don't get it from our cowering Kreider on the backcheck .

Watching the Rangers getting owned is like watching a bunch of tall bullies play keep away with the little kids ball on the playground. Carolina and now Florida are just dominating play. Who thinks the Rangers can continue to go 10+ minutes without a shot on goal and hold off that kind of pressure?
Without Igor the Rangers would be home already. Last night was a big game. I think they are about to run out of luck.

We're going to have a bad time if they're worried about the feelings of our #1 center in the ECF. The center who hasnt been able to score at even strength all season and cant beat Wennberg in a physical battle. Dude is cooked.

I don’t ever recall even 2 regular season games where a team looked so overmatched.

FWIW I thought Wheeler was actually decent tonight. Roslovoc needs to sit
Roslovic needs to sit. Swapping him and Kakko on the first line actually helped balance the play against the Barkov line for the third period. Problem was the third line without Kakko was absolutely terrible. Put Chytil in there and keep Kakko on line 1.

It’s really time to break up kz & go back to scheidz-miller. Miller cannot play well with trouba. I’d like to at least see them practice something like
10-16-13
20-72-96
50-93-24
6/17-21-73
55-23
79–4
56/6-8.

I’d scratch trouba in general but that won’t happen and I’d like to
See them try and get jones even if they go 11/7 because the d desperately need someone who can move the puck out of the zone w/o just chipping out so the panthers get it right back.

Mika Zibanejad - "It's sports."
Such excuses. Come out and say you played like crap, and come out rolling in Game 5. Otherwise it's all excuses. Essentially loser talk.

Where's the confidence? You were the #1 team in the league. In the ECF with a tied series with home ice. Stop f***ing sulking.

You arent wrong, but the coach is terrified to break up Kreider/Mika, despite them being awful at even strength all season. Something about hugs and feelings.
