With all that they lost a game in OT. I have to lean on the fact that this team has always responded when needed. They will be at home, the officiating couldn't be nearly as bad so they should get more opportunities, and I don't think some of the top guys could be any worse. We also have last change to help with matchups. It's not over.

I fully expect this series to continue to be played in our defensive zone but we continue to be opportunistic. It's the only way we're gonna win this. There is no magic cure in 48 hours. At the same time, Drury is not a dummy. He is seeing this.

I know I'm overly sensitive to the Rangers and sometimes I'm too hard on them when they miss a stretch pass that many teams miss. But this game in the last two periods, especially the third it legit felt they couldn't breakout with wide open options 5 feet away without turning it over.

Players aren’t known for their performances in the Eastern Conference semifinals or quarterfinals. Mika hasn’t shown an ability to play 5v5 beyond that.

Carolina was a 111 point team that was the cup favorites before the season began. They are a very good team and MIka was good against them. He does need to be better along with Panarin and Kreider.

The panthers thoroughly outplayed the Rangers from the 2nd period on, but if the penalties are going to end up 6-2, the refs HAVE to call at least one of the two penalties with 20 seconds left in regulation.

The Hurricanes are even bigger paper targets than us. Although, I will say at least they managed to outshoot the Panthers last year in their sweep. That series was legit less embarrassing than this mostrosity.
