that's an MSL decision. He said he wants him to focus on 5 on 5 at first.Wonder if Burrows will stop being stubborn and try Slaf on the PP
Best net front presence is between Dvorak, and Monahan. The PP should clearly be
Cc-Suzuki-whoevers the best net front presence
Dach-Guhle
Its such a no brainer it hurts
Dvorak, Monahan, Gally, Andy, Slaf, Youppi, I dont give much thought about this one. Just gotta be willing to eat a slapshot and get punched in the face.Best net front presence is between Dvorak, and Monahan.
But, we heard Dadonov is supposed to be good in the high slot. I havne't been watching, so I don't know.
He played 60+ games last year its not far off 80.Can we honestly stop arguing about Slafkovski. He's a kid coming from Europe. He's not used to play 82 games. Giving him 20 minutes for 82 games would probably be more detrimental than helpful. He's playing in the NHL and learning the game. Nothing wrong give him the time to acclimate. Even if he finish the season with 30 points that's no big deal as long as we see a progression next season.
Some guys are good in front of the net and at darting into the corner and winning puck battles. Corey Perry was elite. Dvorak is at least very good. Good hands around the net, and is good on draws. Haven't seen Monahan or Slaf, so don't know how good they are there.Dvorak, Monahan, Gally, Andy, Slaf, Youppi, I dont give much thought about this one. He shouldnt be in the NHL
Do you actually see him hitting 30 with the way hes playing? I wouldnt bet over 20.
Doesn’t dissuade many from posturing about deck chairs. How many posts in this thread doing that already? They don't have the assets.

Of course that wouldn't make any sense.
But since the PP is not working and Slafkovsky has attributes that could make him useful on the PP, why not? Especially if he's on the 4th line and not playing on the PK.
NHL is not only about “completing high risk passes”, it’s about properly reading & reacting to game situations accordingly - that’s what hockey ops is trying to instill in Slaf at the start of his pro career. Once that’s part of his DNA, the rest of it will flow naturallyThen play him the minutes he actually deserves. He’s the only forward seemingly capable of completing high risk passes other than Suzuki.
This.
Of course we have assholes fans so he will get booed anyway.

4th line = less expectations..Only reason I'm watching at this point is to see the kids, and with the first overall pick now on the 4th line and probably playing five minutes... what's the point in watching!?
Who cares. He should get booed. He whined his way out of town and played like absolute shit last year to get his way.This.

This isn’t PK Subban who provided us with far better years, entertainment and donations. Petry was just a solid player.
I hope people also keep in mind, that Petry was simply trying to remain happily married without any family complications. Both Caufield and Suzuki mentioned today they hope he gets a warm welcome.
Guy was a beast for us. People can do what they want but I would want him to feel the love.
Damn not sports fans who boo opposing players. What assholes.I was clearly on point.
