So.. I watched the few minutes of play again to see what happened with DD and torres. DD gave torres a good cross checked. Torres skates away 5 feet to side of net. Slides back as the horn sounds and goes up to drew and slash's his skate, doughty starts to slash back when Torres sucker punches him. DD then grabs him and they go down wrestling.
Not a fan of Rafi. It was a ruff and tumble game. The punch seems uncalled for. But it's hockey and I'm sure drew is ok.

Well it's true, and frustrating to watch That line not be effective.

Whenever they meet next time, I hope the likes of Clifford and Nolan challenge some of their guys and Brown steps up and crushes one of those punks.

The team reflects its leadership. When you have the head coach and captain whine like *****es every time things don't go their way, you see other, lesser leaders (players) take the lead.
Vermette...Yandle...Smith...I could go on and on. This team is the worst collection of whiners in the entire league. I think someone above said Vancouver is worse...no. I just don't see it.
This team is definitely the worst.

Totally agree. I don't know if Penner got one of the stars tonight or not, but he sure should have. I thought he was the best player on the kings tonight.
If we're going to win the cup, we're going to do it with Penner on Richards line, not Tofolli. Penner, believe it or not is much tougher to play against.

Gotta love Kelly Chase on NHL Tonight calling out Muzzin for not answering the bell for sticking out his leg and the lack of respect for the veteran Doan. Do these idiots even watch the plays?
Kelly Chase is a moron. Even Tippett, while crying about the officiating tonight, said that was a legit play.
Not only do most fans hate us, but alot of the so called announcers and analysts. I thought they fell in love with ever winning team, they make everything we do look wrong. I don't get why ours is having the negative effect.
I wouldn't take it too seriously or personally. People may fall in love with underdogs and teams that first begin to win, but when they become routine contenders, a true threat, they will always then be hated.

Yeah, didn't understand what Chase was yammering about tonight. He usually is pro-Kings. He had us in his personal top five in power rankings just last night and said we weren't getting enough love. Shrug.
That post game quote from Doan is exactly why most of the hockey world is in love with him. He can get carried away and do Pejorative Slured crap in-game, but hours, days, etc. after the fact usually presents a level head. It's exactly why I vacillate between utter contempt and begrudging respect for the guy myself.
Whatever. We come away with four points and the Coyotes are on the brink because of it.
And yes, throw me into the "Coyotes are bigger whiners than Vancouver" camp. I gained a lot of respect for Henrik Sedin after last year's series. Say what you want about the guy but he showed up, took a brutal hit from Brown in game three, and kept on pushing. Vancouver was seriously humbled last year and you see it reflected in their fan base. I still hate them, strongly, but not as much as a couple years ago. They were thoroughly weighed, measured, and found lacking - and they all know it. Can't ask for much more than that in a rivalry.
The Coyotes on the other hand still carry this attitude like they deserved better last year. They continue to blame reffing and god knows what else. Obnoxious as hell.
