Props for the heavy game they played...gonna be some exhausted players after tonight.

I think I mentioned this before, but sort of related--does anyone notice that other teams seem to go on losing streaks after they play us? Hopefully PHX continues their pattern!

- Doughty was rock solid
- I hate that Sutter dislikes Toffoli. I feel like he never plays. Kid's been playing well, Sutter needs to relax on the guy. Even reading his press quotes on Toffoli, he never gives him credit.

Sutter doesn't dislike Toffoli. The kid is a rookie though and Sutter is growing tired of the media asking about him in every interview.

Toffoli is getting a good, long look, but don't be surprised when the going gets tough if Penner isn't back with Richards and Carter and Nolan is back in the lineup.

Toffoli may very well get his 8 or 9 games and then get sent back down.

DS doesn't dislike Toffoli, but some of the questions asked give the perception that people are more interested in him than the team. DS will never put any one player ahead of the team, ever. The questions are annoying him for that reason alone.

I know bernier played great but quick did get a shutout last night. If you guys want to go far again in the playoffs I think you need quick to gain his confidence back and play up to his potential again. He's a top 3 goalie in the league when he is on his game. I think Quick has to get the next start or his confidence could take a hit. Just my opinion though

I agree, and Sutter pretty much said as much in his post game interview, saying that he was going to keep playing both goalies.

Toffoli has to learn to Fore-check in a Sutter system. Richards/Carter have to be better too.

That line has too many one and done's.

Penner is much better on that line.

I agree. By all accounts, the Coyotes did play harder, and if the game is won on preparation and effort, the Coyotes should have won.

I was laughing more at the "calls going against them" line.

Between OEL embellishing the high stick, Doan dropping the gloves and running after Muzzin, the Kings were not the sole beneficiaries of questionable calls.

Totes. Whatever, we won... again. Tippet can suck an egg.

I haven't been this animated after goals and the victory in a while. Hate those guys. Doan is a beast, but he was getting away with some crap and the Kings weren't taking the bait with a 2 goal lead.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the fans who stick around outside Staples and make Kings live awesome. It must be great for the players to come out to be interviewed and experience that kind of enthusiasm. Kudos to those fans.
