I don't know Ben Pope from Adam but I agree with this tweet/entire article. Watching the players in complete disarray last night was beyond embarrassing.

There was plenty to criticize about Q but he kept his cool and did not blame the players other than to use Q-speak language like okay etc...

JC is showing his inexperience and after a full year of staying patient, I am now in the group questioning whether he is equipped to be an NHL HC.

you should be questioning seabrooks leadership if he a.) didnt want to talk about why he was being scratched b.) couldnt handle that he was being scratched and c.) created a stir in the media to undermine his coach because he cant take ownership for his play...

it was entitled behavior the minute konroyd suggested seabrook was upset he was told the day of the game and not the day before (which they played a road game at carolina), and after jc basically said seabrook didn't want to talk about why he was scratched...how do you get a team to come together when your leadership group undermines the coaching staffs efforts to get the team playing the right way...Seabrook put his ego and pride above the team and created a stir...force him to waive his nmc with more scratches

Let's remember Stan talked to both Seabs and Keith last season about being traded and both said NO. If Seabs really is so delusional that he thinks his play is fine and does not deserve to be scratched, then he's not facing the reality of the situation. He's also not the only one that deserves to be scratched, but who fills in?

Unfortunately i think scratching Toews isnt in the cards yet. Seabrook had to be eased into it for two years basically and look at the shit storm it created.

Its a fine line but with Toews i think it needs smaller steps first. If the demotion doesnt cause anything, and hes still playing like shit for a few more months, then id scratch him yes, and deal with whatever the fallout is.

JC is walking such a freaking fine line here. Funny some harp on him being inexperienced blabla, yet hes thrown to the wolves with a 10+ year aging championship core that apparently needs their egos massaged and a media contingent defending them at the same time. Colliton said they talked sunday and konroyd said that it probably pissed off seabs it was the day of the game and not saturday after they got back from carolina; which wouldve been shitty of JC to step off a plane and tell Seabrook the same day that he's benched next game...Colliton then implied last night that Seabrook wanted no part of the conversation once the decision was made. At that point Seabrook is a problem and doesn't deserve that opportunity again the following game. Time for Seabs to stop whining and start earning his keep
