Q was consistently playing Manning. That was huge grip here along with the special teams.

JC came in and the special teams were fixed only for the players to stop moving this season (plus Gus forgetting how to play hockey). If Gus does not fix his shit and continues to get time you will 100% see people (like me) calling it out and then later calling for his head.

No one is turning a blind eye to it. Seabrook was worse than Gus but we will see what JC does for next game. I would put Seabrook back in and sit Gus. I would then do something stupid like put Nylander in Gus's spot on the PK and roll 5 forwards. Yes I would do that.

JC played Manning a lot as well including with Seabrook as primary PK pair

Special teams were fixed? LOL the PK last year was historically bad

Q never punished the core or held them accountable. Just Colliton scratching Seabrook on back-to-back games is Colliton creating more accountability than Q did.

I still don't know what to make of Colliton yet, but I haven't reached the same hard-line conclusion you have.

I think people are just venting. It was a terrible effort last night and looking for a scapegoat. While I'm skeptical of JC's gravitas (pretty much a rookie coach) to hold veterans accountable ... it can't be an easy situation dealing with Toews, Kane, Keith, Seabrook, and Crow. It's hard to replace a legend like Q. It would be a tough situation for even the better coaches.
