Q never punished the core or held them accountable. Just Colliton scratching Seabrook on back-to-back games is Colliton creating more accountability than Q did.

I still don't know what to make of Colliton yet, but I haven't reached the same hard-line conclusion you have.

And this more then just about Seabrook this is about how JC has acted his entire tenure with Hawks

Also for all this talk about holding people accountable we sure as hell should be holding JC accountable for underplaying Strome , Nylander , Dach and KK despite them being productive and playing well

Why is our coach playing trash like Gus so much when he is an abomination in his own end? Surely JC isn't afraid of Gus so why is he turning blind eye?

JC has no credibility with holding people accountable after how he treated Joker

Players shouldn't respect him at this point and if GM wants to stand by coach then players should be free to voice displeasure to media/fans

How he treated Joker? This has been explained to you multiple times. Joker was playing to keep his head above water and this is terrible for development. JC sending Joker down was good for him. He did nothing wrong to Joker.

If he is sitting Seabrook then I would say he is holding the room accountable. Remember you can't sit everyone.

I think it's everything, system, players not executing, goaltending, the whole works. Just like it was previous to JC.

That is fair. They had moments where they were more aggressive at the end of the season last year but it was not consistent.

Q kept putting Keith on the point on PP1 even though he could not accept a pass, make a clean pass, or get a shot on goal. His coaching was not all that great either if he couldn't recognize that and that's why he's gone. The core didn't perform under Q and they aren't now under JC. How many coaches do we hire and fire until the core actually plays well?

The bottom line is no particular player or management is to blame for this mess we are seeing on the ice. That doesn't bring us any closer to a solution however which has everyone frustrated.

Close the door on Colliton, air out your grievances and realize there are Blackhawk fans out there that want to see this team succeed. I agree there's no clear solution, but we can see a big part of the problem is our star veterans not showing up so far.

The story isxsimple:It starts with Center pkay and production..

Last night...combined shots on goal generated by the Hawks centers= 5

Toews 1 Dach 1 Kampf 3 carpenter 0
Goals combined=0


Nick Bonino the 3C for Nashville alone generated 9 shots on goal and scored one of them..

Do we have a Center problem= yes. .cannot score goals. Cannot generate plays and drive lines collecting assists in bunches and piling up assists either... Cannot tilt the ice and influence the game with possession dominance.

It stars at Center.. They are not cutting it especialky the top 3cguys. CARPENTER though he did not pkaycwelk either last night overall has been our best Center at 4C which says a lot about the Center problems ofvthevtop 3clines.

Get better Center play from top 3vlines and it would beca different story.

Yes yo can blame wingers forbpoirvpkay ..but itvalwaysxrevolcesxabout production from the middle....from the Cmters.

It seems like both Colliton and Seabs are each covering their asses. Colliton visibly stalled to think of an answer when questioned about the communication to Seabs, and honestly what he fired off didn't even make much sense. He clearly deflected about whether they spoke between the last game and this one. Which is what Seabs originally said anyway, that there was no communication about the most recent scratch. I don't think you can bedruge him that, especially when Colliton's whole schtick is that he's supposed to be this amazing communicator. Seabrook should do some soul searching and realize that getting scratched isn't coming out of the blue and that airing it to the press isn't great for the room, but Colliton getting defensive doesn't look looking amazing either.
