6 numbers is A LOT of Jersey numbers to be retired without a Stanley Cup.
Seems kind of strange.

Bure and Naslund were odd choices.

Don't see Anaheim retiring Getz and Perry's #s unless they go on a tear and win a Cup or two. Nieds and Jiggy, yeah.

I've always maintained that Selanne will be retired, Giguere should be retired, and Niedermayer won't be retired. Scott really wasn't here all that long. Yeah he was a huge part of our team winning a Cup, but you can say that about too many guys on that team. We retire 27 and there's not much excuse to not retire 25, 15, 10, and 19.

if Getzlaf finishes this contract in Anaheim, his number will be retired regardless of another Cup or not. I don't have any doubt in that.
