Dorion traded Gustafsson, Murray, a 3rd, a 7th, and got back 35 year old pending UFA Talbot while retaining $1.6 million.

Dubas traded nothing for Murray with 25% retained, a 3rd, a 7th.

Anyone who frames this as a win for Dorion is being irrational and not looking at the evidence. It's not a "big win" for Dubas as he didn't use his full leverage - everyone knows that. But it's not a loss.

You talk as though murray is this great starting goalie and is a steal.
He hasnt been a starting goalie in three yesrs. Injured 7 times in that period and last three were concussions,

Doiron got rid of a complete unknown for an upgrade in talbot.
