Milano, Balcers, Aube-Kubel, Dahlen, and Donato are guys I'm interested in (of guys that weren't qualified).

I also like C. Miller, Kulak, Comrie, and Stolarz.

No love for Matt Luff? I think he's my top player that wasn't qualified.

And Balcers is technically being bought out.

I'd move Kerfoot to sign Marchment today. The latter will get more and term but he'd add an element that I think would suit the Leafs top 6 well. He fits in the short-term.

Not sure the Leafs want to go after term players though. They seem to want to leave as much cap as possible to re-sign the players that matter.

I'd rather Kerfoot for Brown. Ottawa can even retain to keep cap hits the same. Saves Ottawa money, gives us a heavier player.

If we go into next season with the same group, riding Kerfoot on the wing with Tavares, this team isn’t going anywhere.

We need an impact top 6 forward And another bottom 6 addition that brings some semblance of a forecheck instead of the retirement home we’ve been icing.

I think Marchment is out of the question unfortunately. It’ll be interesting to see where Strome goes but I think he will have more suitors than some think.

I think any player the Leafs target has to have foot speed. There are teams and coaches where guys can succeed without that but I don't believe Keefe knows what to do with a plodder. Plus I think MM will cost more than Giroux. The Leafs need help but it has to fit with their current system which is problematic if they want more physicality.

I don’t hate the guy, but I really didn’t like that line with him on it. In terms of salary we may need to move on. I’m not sure if we are going to find any more Buntings this year

Not sure there's a splash to be made. The team is set. They need a lot more secondary and depth players.

I agree though the Leafs should probably move out a little bit of salary to really change up the secondary make up of the team. But... we'll see. It might be more something that happens in a few days/weeks.

People get worked up on Day 1 of Free Agency, but there's a whole 2 months afterwards.
