Yes, $1,333,333 for the four years following 2027-28 assuming of course there are no other buy outs. And back to 1.3 for the years remaining

I would think there was some reaction after Tkachuk’s departure, so yes, Treliving will likely panic after Marner leaves and will trade for the Korpse.May all of Treliving's trades with the Leafs be as well thought out as the Huberdeau extension he gave out in CGY.
Ok. With the cap going up I think you can build a totally fine rosterIn 2026-27, taking White’s buyout into account, it would be $2,708,333.
In 2027-28, it would be $3,208,333.
Thought it's advisable to consider the details and big picture.
One of garriochs buddies is hinting at sorokin.
For fun’s sake I’ll comment. If he is shit that contract is TRULY maybe the worst contract ever.
Chychrun + Korpisalo. Terrifying contract.Sorokin traded right before his NMC and 8 year 66M extension takes effect would be wild.
Would be shocked if it happened.
I'd do it tbh, look at Bob in Fla, without him they aren't where they are right now imo, and his contract was even crazier.Chychrun + Korpisalo. Terrifying contract.
One last stinky turd in the corner before leaving the party
IF he is shit??? OK, LOL.One of garriochs buddies is hinting at sorokin.

Sorokin is a good goalie. His contract and our cap situation make it tricky though. If he’s really on the market (seems surprising), I’d think he’ll generate interest. Throwing the Korpse into a trade deal would definitely kill the deal.I'd do it tbh, look at Bob in Fla, without him they aren't where they are right now imo, and his contract was even crazier.
That said, it would really limit our options for other positions, say goodbye to any hope for Roy or Pesce (assuming we ever had a chance) and we'd probably need to bridge Pinto.
If we could trade Forsberg too, and fill the backup spot with Sogaard or some other cheap deal that would help.
Also, I think the likelihood of NYI moving him are next to none...
New coach apparently is not a fanIF he is shit??? OK, LOL.
OK, but that had nothing to do with my post. Not sure why you asked the question: “IF he is shit”.New coach apparently is not a fan
Floating in the fondue potThe corner? That thing is dead center on the dining room table.
Bit of a red flag no?New coach apparently is not a fan
I agree.Sorokin traded right before his NMC and 8 year 66M extension takes effect would be wild.
Would be shocked if it happened.
There is no way Lou let's Roy run a goalie of Sorokin's calibre off the island. NO WAYNew coach apparently is not a fan
Not many teams could easily accommodate that contract, ourselves included.Sorokin is a good goalie. His contract and our cap situation make it tricky though. Yeah. He’s a goalie about to start a monstrous contract. Better be sure about the swingOK, but that had nothing to do with my post. Not sure why you asked the question: “IF he is shit”.
Yes. Goalies are walking red flags to begin withBit of a red flag no?
Ya, that was surprising, and I think they’ll rue the day they move him.Not many teams could easily accommodate that contract, ourselves included.
I think we'd have to add a bit to intice them to take on Korpisalo, but tbh I can't see them wanting to trade sorokin anyways
Sorokin seems to be about as sure a thing as you can find, which is why I doubt NYI will have any interest in moving him.Yes. Goalies are walking red flags to begin with
