this is what we traded montour for
There is the Bob murray arbitration theory but I was so mad we traded him. I was one of probably 5 montour jersey owners lol0 pts in 7 games and a -6 in the german league lol

Yeeeeeah, but now he's not allowed to score for the rest of the year, so it's gonna be a tough sell for that top line.Steel is killin it.

the lindholm trade is looking worse and worse by the dayUsing that same logic, Lindholm was traded for Vaaks. I think we all know which one was an egregious trade.
It is going to take years to fully evaluate the Lindholm trade. The Ducks basically got Vaaks, a 2022 first that turned into Gaucher, and a 2023 second for Lindholm. They also got a 2024 second for taking on the Moore salary. Vaaks has his moments of competent play, but is apparently injury prone. If it were just Lindholm for Vaaks it would be one of the most horrible trades in Ducks history. But Lindholm for the entire package could result in a decent return for the Ducks. Or it could still go down as one of the most horrible trades in Ducks history.the lindholm trade is looking worse and worse by the day
Aside from the hair Getz's son is exactly like him

Complete punk move by Gallagher going for the late low bridge attempt at the knees, good on Montour for the response
Reminds me of that hit on Peca by....somebody. Tucker?
Had the exact same thought
Yeah, but he is difficult to play with ...It's almost half a season and Brandon Montour is on pace for 69 points.
For comparison, only Scott Niedermayer has scored so much in our franchise history. Obviously his output would not be as high here, but it still, makes you think. Theo, Monty...
The only comment I would make is that Buffalo gave up on Montour as well. Sometimes it takes the right coach, the right team, the right situation for a player to bloom. It's almost half a season and Brandon Montour is on pace for 69 points.

Plus, his offense was never questioned. Nut like you said, BUF also was not a good place for him.The only comment I would make is that Buffalo gave up on Montour as well. Sometimes it takes the right coach, the right team, the right situation for a player to bloom.
