i remember being really excited for Hagelin. good player who just do not fit with the team whatsoever. was happy to see him win it Pitts with Bonino

Yeah, I was also excited when they got Hagelin. Thought it would be good to have two fast forecheckers in the lineup (Cogliano being the other one). Didn't work out well. I called the Hagelin for Perron trade in advance, which was good for both teams then.

I miss players like Bells so much, this team needs them. Dude did whatever it took to get a job. Went from a high scoring junior player and used his one NHL attribute, his shot, to carving out a role as a tough role player who stood up for his teammates,.

I would wish you a happy retirement, but I’m still not over your absolute dogshit performance from Game 6 of the 2017 Conference Finals

I've never watched the highlights from that game but iirc he let in the softest goal of the playoffs almost immediately. I also remember nashville taking the lead just as our pp had ended. im so glad the pens destroyed them and we got to see all those divers with tears in their eyes after the clock hit zero on their run.

Puck was going wide, but went off Montour. That second goal though, yikes. Randy looks like he wants to kill him.

3rd goal he let in was pretty bad too, although I don't know what the hell Montour was doing either.

I appreciate the rundown and providing the link, but I cant watch that. Hahaha, it's too painful. I love this team so much and 2017 and 2015 in particular are the worst for me because how close they were to winning it all.

that series was so frustrating. felt like could've won if it weren't for the NHL schedulers. even then, there were periods during that series where i thought we had the momentum. All 3 series against Nashville I think we had significant momentum at points during the series but we just fell apart towards the end.
