Imagine only having to give up a very injury-prone midde / bottom pairing defenceman, a low 1st and a low 2nd for Lindholm (I think taking on Moore for a 2nd is a wash).

The Lindholm trade was always going to look bad this year. It’s whether he can stay healthy 3-4years in for the back half that will determine things.

People here just seemed really hopeful he’d be injured a lot at the time of trade to justify it.
Lindholm would never have this success here with this system. There really is no reason to get upset over the production he has now. He is a very good player, that is now playing in a system that utilizes his play to the best of his abilities.

Oddly enough most of the pieces we got for lindholm have been injured the whole time.
He def didn’t like the system Eakins employed, granted I think Eakins would be gone within 1 year of him signing his new deal, so whose to say he wouldn’t go back to his old self with new coach and system
Oh that trade is not looking good at all. Was just pointing out his success this season. He’s playing on a team that actually has a system that plays defense, lol.

Mark my words the second Hampus has any type injury those people will be here saying "this is the reason" even if it's a couple games. It's hockey players get hurt he played similar amount of games as Fowler other than that one major injury. Now Drysdale is injured similarly.

lindholm is playing for a team that cares about winning and is winning

I read somewhere that Bieksa would have waived to be apart of the expansion, but Bob never asked him. Not sure how true that is though.

Gonna be interesting to see where hampus ends up, assuming he can stay relatively healthy. his pace is incredible but his track record is one of fairly minimal offense. I'd love to see him hit 50 points - it would go a long way to kind of re-define his career up to this point and the type of player we've generally thought him to be.
