Agreed. At 1.5-2 mil a year for 2 years, I could live with that, but to me, he’s a 4th liner. Maybe a meh 3rd liner at best. I never understood all the praise he was getting over the past 10 games or so. He’s great for 1 or 2 games, then mediocre to horrible for the next 10-15 games. Very inconsistent.

In my opinion, I agree, but I want the team to feel good about themselves. As long as their morale is high after a dominant game, even if they lose, that’s great. And a few goals couldn’t hurt, as long as they lose 3-2 or 4-3.
