So we should just give Shattenkirk PP1 time because he’s older and has a history of being good on it, right? Older players shouldn’t just be “given stuff” either.

No, he’s getting the time because he’s been better than them lately. He deserves it. I’ve said that multiple times.

Not for nothing but you’re complaining about Shattenkirk while he’s in the midst of probably his best stretch of hockey as a Ranger since his first month. Today was probably his best game of the season. There’s no reason at all to be complaining about him right now.

No, he’s getting the time because he’s been better than them lately. He deserves it. I’ve said that multiple times.

Over the last 2-3 games, yes, but I still think ADA deserves it over him. He’s been playing better than him. But I would still play ADA/Pionk/Skjei over him, because Shattenkirk is on the decline, and we can still develop the others into PP quarterbacks for the future.

Scouts look for more than just points. There is a reason they attend the games and don't just read the box scores.

Our players dominated. This was a good game for scouts to see.
