picks+ Evan Rodrigues to clear cap, Jack Devine as a decent prospect.
...what picks??...they don't have a 1st until 2030...

Marchy with that lineup is gonna pop 30 plus with his eyes closeI don't disagree. But Marchand is on 39, not a teenage anymore.
Barkiv is coming back, we will see how he will go
MT, had some health issues.
It would not be the first time a great team on paper, not winning all.
Well, no, he was THE guy that series. Idk how anyone with eyes watching it could conclude otherwise. Again, he isn't meant to be THE guy to carry an offense though.Your ability to understand who is "the guy" is immediately exposed by using points/60 in a 6 game sample to demonstrate a point. Adam Guadette is 2nd on that list.
One of those deals that works out for everyone involved...although going to Seattle, I don't know how good that is. Like you said, at least he should get some good playing timeThey didn't have a spot for Mackie to really develop further and Zito tends to do right by players. The 1st round pick was also included in this trade, so the two trades are definitely related.
I tend to think both trades were good for both teams, given where the players involved were with the team they were traded from. But HFBoards needs clear losers AINEC.One of those deals that works out for everyone involved...although going to Seattle, I don't know how good that is. Better to deal with the Brady problemI think this is a great move by Staios. Brady only had 2 years left. If they were playoff bound at deadline 2028, Brady might stay, then they either miss or lose in the playoffs, and he walks for nothing. Or they trade him at the deadline and the return pales in comparison to this one.
But instead they get 3 1sts (including a 9OA) and a 2nd.
Besides, he may have requested a trade to Florida to play with his brother.

They just might change the trajectory of their franchise for years to come but...... to say Canadian teams aren't going to draft American players ever again is laughable .Wild.
Canadian teams will never draft an American-born player ever again.
I dislike the Senators, but hope they draft some of the best players for their franchise in this trade.
Has to be around Lundell. Wonder if FL didn't include him because there's something going on with Winnipeg, or he doesn't want to give him up. Without Lundell there's no way Helle goes to FL.

Maybe. But for now, it's a question of "if." We'll see, BT won't see any more PP1, it's possible some players might want some playing time. I'm intrigued, everyone's giving the cup to Florida, I'm going to wait.Marchy with that lineup is gonna pop 30 plus with his eyes close
Marchy is a unicorn trust me I'm a bruins fan I know him. The east is screwed with this move tonight.Maybe. But for now, it's a question of "if." Marchand played 52 games last year..... Again, Marshy will be 39. At 39, sometimes, the elastic doesn't stretch as much.
Then it's not happening. Lundell ain't going anywhere, Zito will hang up.
yeah, 2030,31,32,34....etc take your pick. Zito will gladly offer them.

Brady Tkachuk is not a franchise player. I say that with him being my current profile pic.Ottawa fans must be gutted.
A franchise player traded to a division rival so he can bro down and do opinionated podcasts.
Simple solution, switch the revenue split to 60-40 for the players and I'm sure there'd be little push-back.NHL need to get rid of this no movement clauses it's wrecking the league. Teams that have solid weather and tax systems are preferred now this is becoming a joke.

Saw that coming
Way to trade within the division Ottawa
