FAQ: Going to Anaheim and Honda Center

Last time I went to a game people had them

Thanks!

And to the question above, the Lazy Dog is good. Also a number of restaurants in that shopping/eating complex across the river (well, kinda river) from Honda Center. I think there's a good chance you'll get in trouble if you leave your car there for a game though, those security guards are like hawks.

Hey guys, quick question here. Does Honda Center allow duck calls in the building anymore? I found a Mighty Ducks one that's probably about two decades old in my childhood bedroom. And before anyone gets mad, no I don't plan on pissing everyone in my section off with it, it'd just be fun to bring in mostly for nostalgic purposes. The thing is nearly as old as I am though, so I don't want it being taken away at security. Thanks guys.

They let them in with no problem.

Any good restaurants and/or bars within walking distance that aren't JT Schmid's?

Lazy Dog, Pint House, Tilted Kilt (poor service and not particularly good prices though). Cheaper options like Spin! pizza and that sandwich place. Chili's. Lots of stuff in that lot by the theater.

Just don't park there, though, they are far from shy about towing.

I can vouch for Spin! as well. That place is REALLY good.

They were selling them at the team store just a couple years back... Gotta think they're still okay.

Dave & Busters, Boomers?

Depends on what your looking for. There is a pinball map website/app that is pretty up to date. That should tell you what kind of place it is. But the biggest one would be the family amusement in LA.

Thanks for the help, kducks, Force951.

At least I have a significantly better idea where to go from this point on, especially when I go to arcades that have Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes.

I used to go to Arcade Infinity years ago and that place was legit for fighting games. I just remembered the name and checked and apparently it's closed but apparently the same owner opened up Super Arcade in Walnut but right now it's in the process of being moved (from reading yelp) so maybe keep an eye out for this place in the future.

Super Arcade is indeed moving to Azusa but still hasn't finalized the actual address.

Prior to Summer 2011, I was literally the only person that played Tatsunoko vs Capcom religiously.

Section 406 in row A (Front row but in the corner of the Terrace)
Section 411 in row J (Center ice but farther back)

Which seats are better do you think?

411 is better, but if you're coming to support a visiting team id go with 406. (Visitor shoot twice side)

Hi Guys, Big Rangers and hockey fan here. I am going on a trip to California and will be in the area for a potential game 5. I am coming from across country and was hoping for a little insight on tickets. I will certainly root for the Ducks.

Is club level seats better off or lower level would you say? I noticed their prices are very similar. Also is there any all inclusive like food/drink packages?

If I bought tickets off stubhub or ticketmaster can they scan my ticket? Thanks for the help.

I've never experienced the jack Daniels bar/ restaurant at Honda center, but I've passed by it several times and there appeared to be a buffet style dinner available. The restarant is on the club level as well.

You should look into our new grand terrace as well.

Yes, they can scan your tickets

Noble ale works is walking distance and generally has food trucks especially game day. If you're into beer give them a shot it's packed with ducks/angels fans before the games.
