I'm a die hard Ducks and Leafs fan since 1995. I always say when the Leafs don't make the playoffs, I still have a team to root for in the spring. Anyways I'm also a die hard Oakland Raiders fan, I want to visit California next fall/winter and want to watch my precious Ducks and Raiders. I was wondering how far is Anaheim from Oakland? Thanks. That is if Raiders even play in Oakland next season.

I'd say at least 8 hours.

Approximately an hour flight. Driving 6-7. It's about 400 miles.

Thanks boys, also was wondering how much tickets cost in the playoffs for a Ducks game? Say I wanted to visit California in the spring/summer and stay in the Orange County area for about a week. Flights can't be that expensive from Toronto can they in the spring/summer? Hoping for a long Ducks playoff run.

It depends on the round, but first round tickets on broker websites and stubhub usually start at around $30-40 or so for the 400s (if you buy within a week of the game). Obviously nicer seats and later rounds will be more expensive.

Honda center questions!!

Hi all, coming to anaheim for game 1 from toronto. I have a few questions.

Is "the playoff spot" still a thing? Does it open at 5pm local time? Is there anything else to do during the afternoon to get pumped for the game? Was thinking JT's.

Also hoping to know when the arena opens/closes for playoff games. 530pm?

Tyvm!!

Not sure about playoff spot but there's always the "Hockey Spot" http://ducks.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=44510 (says on sundays though, so no idea)

And i'm pretty sure you're correct that the building opens at 5:30.

Thanks. Still hoping for info about the playoff spot, particularly for game 1

They haven't really announced the schedule of stuff yet. I'm thinking after Saturday and we know more about who and when we are playing, they'll put the info out.

What time to arrive to playoff game (last question I swear)

What time should I arrive at tomorrow's game. Is their stuff going on outside the arena beforehand like there was at the other series? I'm also going with my best friend who likes hockey but isn't as into it as I am necessarily and I don't want to bore her.

Don't want to derail this but why? And I'm basically asking what time should I get there so it's not too early but I don't want to miss anything either.

Nothing. Have a good time with your friend. Show up at least an hour early even if you're not parking. There are things to do outside and security will be a disaster to get through.

Hey guys, quick question here. Does Honda Center allow duck calls in the building anymore? I found a Mighty Ducks one that's probably about two decades old in my childhood bedroom. And before anyone gets mad, no I don't plan on pissing everyone in my section off with it, it'd just be fun to bring in mostly for nostalgic purposes. The thing is nearly as old as I am though, so I don't want it being taken away at security. Thanks guys.

Can't you just call them and ask? I think they have a phone # for stuff like that in the FAQs or something. Normally it relates to cameras and lenses allowed, but I'm sure they know all the other rules.

Sure, was just seeing if anyone here knew :dunno:
