F Tij Iginla - Kelowna Rockets, WHL (2024, 6th, UTAH)

There aren't many weaknesses to his game. He plays bigger than his size, has translatable offense, solid skater, and has good hockey IQ. This might be another Brady and Matthew Tkachuk scenario.
Who is this year's Juolevi or Kotkaniemi?

Still find it funny that his son's name s so short when His (Jarome's) full name is ridiculously long (5 or 6 middle names)

He does so many things well, & he's got pro attributes.

The question comes down to whether he's a middle 6 forward or a legit top 6 forward. If the latter he's a 10-20 guy, if the former he's late first.

If the Flames get another pick in the 20ish range then they have to draft him

That's why it makes sense for us to draft 32nd. :naughty::laugh:

But it will be our pick. Your not gettingitness is really making me explain I'm happy to draft 32nd again because it means we went back to back.
Oh I know the 32nd pick goes to the winner in theory. Excepting youre not winning it again and the team that does wouldnt have kept the pick :P

Hmmm…maybe a new school version of Nino Niederreiter?

I feel like this is probably pretty accurate.

Nothing flashy, pretty simple straight-lines player ... but powerful and with a shot that will beat NHL goalies.
