Rockets, meanwhile, lost their seventh straight game. Cristall injured in the second period and Ieveryone else didn't know how to play after that, gave up 3 goals.

Kelowna went down 5-1 and actually battled admirably trying to get themselves back in the game but 5-3 is as close as they'd come.

Really like Iginla's pro potential. He's so good at holding onto pucks & using his body to shield it under pressure. From what I've seen he's not creative in any flashy sense but I'd say he's kind of a 'meat & potatoes' playmaker in that he doesn't panic when he has the puck & he does have great vision, so he can protect it in traffic & find a nice pass. (On top of a good shot/great hands)

Another thing I love is he's always engaged in the play, and he has a quickness to his skating that allows him to be aggressive on the puck but not get behind the play. Just lots of pro elements here imo.

in 72 games. Back then, they played more games what they do today.

35th in WHL goals, 46th in points,

Tij - 50 goal, 78 point pace (68 games)

atm 20 goals, 31 points : 6th in WHL goals, 27th in points.


Jarome was 6 foot when he was drafted (6 foot 1 next year)
Tij is also 6 foot 0

Although Joe seems to be the most skilled of the three,
not saying the best necessarily, but has most raw skill, ability to score goals and points.

He is way ahead of his brother in the CSSHL, what comes to production
also, he is already 5 foot 11 at 15.

Not taken the Iginla brothers train and the arguments of the different podcasts did not convince me.

I have the impression that we are really planning a regeneration of Jarome Iginla but his sons are clearly less talented.

Concerning Tij, his journey up to U17 never impressed me and this year, his effectiveness is supported by players stronger than him around him.

On the side, I see players more physical than him, who manage by leading their team.

I take Adam Jecho before him.

37th on my current list but I know others have him much higher.

I hardly see him bringing anything in physical combat and defensive play and not talented enough to be among the offensive players.

I don’t expect Tij to come anywhere close to his dad’s production in the NHL. But I am curious what his upside may be without comparing him to his dad?

For those who have seen Tij play this season, who would you compare him to in the NHL? What might his production look like in the nhl?

Where'er the players stronger than him and support him? He didn't play on the same line with Szturc and Cristall.

The lines are very changeable in Kelowna and Iginla's production is increased when he plays alongside these players.

he's a power forward, put great individual efforts. And after Cristall came back, he can't play on the point on the pp.
Of course Cristall and Szturc will create some space for him when they play together, but Tij's weapon is his shot, he definitely not just rely on them.

This is the polar opposite scouting report I've read from just about anyone credible that's watched him. Will be interesting to see who's correct.

Number one thing they said was he's always involved and had a great motor. Effects all parts of the game and he doesn't rely on his linemates. He doesn't play with Cristall.

When I make a WHL list, I have to choose who I put first between the two of them. Reason why, I compare.
