I’ve never read anything about Gilmour‘s wife being involved in that matter, except that she was a part of hiring the 13 year old as their sitter. A cursory search suggests the same. As for Ciccarelli, this was only one of his indiscretions. He also was accused of sexual assault when a member of the Capitals. So yes, the allegations of deviance re Ciccarelli and Gilmour are much more the same than they are different. Anyway, this probably isn’t the place to hash this out. I’m out on this discussion.

Fair enough. The incident happened around 35 years ago and I’m just going off what I remember being said back then and haven’t thought about it since. I don’t specifically remember the Ciccarelli incidents other than that there were some and was only going on the incident in the post you responded to. One thing for certain though. Those guys got off with a very light slap on the wrist compared to the career ending consequences they’d be facing for similar behaviour today.
