6 game/ 1+9/ 10points +8points ;)

Next will be Halifax? :(

Doesn't matter... Hopefully Réway will join the U18 NT this year ;)

BTW Great performance by him in play-off. He overshadowed Gauthier and scouts have certainly took a look on him closely :handclap:.

Decent speed, hands of Ziggy Palffy, but undersized and his defensive play is just awful. Could be a 4th round steal but he's at least 3-4 years from NHL level, if he ever reach it.

Nice call on him being a 4th rounder.

And when he means brilliant, he means; Dear god, that was beautiful.

I was happy when we drafted him, he has everything going for him, but one thing and we all know what it is

i completely forgot the habs drafted him. He's going to be fun to watch this year. I think gatineau could go far.

Knew this kid would have success. Reminds me of Patty Kane. Hopefully he can put it together in the NHL.

Has he any chance to make a team?

Almost none, considering his age, size and Montreal's depth. Still, he's been incredible at camp so far. Fantastic hands and offensive instinct. He hasn't been brutal defensively either. He'll be interesting to watch and reduces the sting of Jordan Subban going the pick before him.

What's also interesting is he's playing a lot of centre in camp and talented offensive centres are rare among our prospect group right now.

How much C did he play in Gatineau last year or in previous years?

I'm not sure what role he played in Gatineau, but I think most of his career in Czech juniors he played as a winger.
Head coach of Slovak U20 team Ernest Bokroš made him a centre in national team for the first time this summer in pre-season games (+Marko Daňo played on his wing). ;)

How does he compare to pre-injury Marek Svatos?

They are comparable, when we are talking about their size and speed, but Martin Réway has got much better playmaking abilities (+ hockey vision) and I think even his stickhandling is better. :)

Talent wise - Reway is simply better - playmaking, hockey IQ.
Svatos hit the perfect storm before his injuries - I don't believe that Reway will hit 75 goals before his 200th NHL game, altough he probably will have a better career.

He certainly has one of the most unusual face-off stances I've ever seen. Just judging from last night's game, it didn't look like it was a position he had played a ton.

I chatted with Trevor Timmins in Indianapolis on the weekend, after we chatted about a few other guys he mentioned to me that Reway was making noise at camp and had played fantastic hockey.

I liked the kid last season and of course the size was the scariest factor. Interesting tidbit, a staffer on another team had asked me if I had seen him yet early last season season. I had not been to Gatineau yet at that point - his words "kid is amazing, you will love him".

We ranked him 175th which is looking a bit late right about now.

I like what i've seen from Reway, but he needs to keep his feet moving and improve his defensive zone play. Doesn't look like the hardest worker out there either but is very slick and shifty.

my beloved habs continue to love taking chances on mad-skill midgets in the mid-rounds

guess we'll see...gallagher is panning out and it looks like hudon will too

After a horrible start (3 pts in 6 games) he now has 23 pts in his last 12 games.

The kid is wayyyy too talented.

0,5 PPG against almost 2PPG is horrible, don´t you think?
If Gretzky scores 40 points instead of 160, it would be horrible too, wouldn´t it?

Hope Reway gets a chance to play a game or two at the end of the season when Canadiens will be sure about playoffs.
