F Martin Reway (2013, 116th, MTL)

Can somebody help me? Which position does he play in Gatineau? Official QMJHL website has listed him as LW. Slovak websites as C and Eliteprospect has listed him as C/LW. I hope he's C. Slovakia strongly need a new elite center ;):).

Well, I haven't seen any games, but given the fact that he rarely takes more than 1 oder 2 faceoffs in a game, I would say it is more likely he is playing on the wing, but this is just an assumption on my part based on his faceoff statistics.
 
Was at the opening game in Gatineau and he was playing RW and was playing at the point on the 1st Powerplay, incredible vision and hands, but so small!
 
Martin is doing pretty well it seems. 12g 16p. One of the best rookies in scoring, far the most points in his team. Anybody seen his games?
 
Just thought I'd bump this. Aside from a bad giveaway against Canada, I would say Reway has had a solid WJC so far. Other people's thoughts?
 
This guy marveled me. So calm with the puck even when he is in the neutral zone and people buzzing by him yet makes beautiful saucer passes. His playmaking and vision ability as well as creativity stood out the most.
 
I really lke this player, the biggest things that he doesnt have is size. But he have the potentiel to be a late first rounder, I watch him a lot in the QMJHL and it's the same, he dominate with speed, hands!
 
His offense really stands out. He reminds me of a young Patty Kane. He's really shifty and has a really quick first step.
 
Decent speed, hands of Ziggy Palffy, but undersized and his defensive play is just awful. Could be a 4th round steal but he's at least 3-4 years from NHL level, if he ever reach it.

I'd be inclined to agree with this. Reway would only ever make it in the NHL as a top six forward, and as good as I think he can be in junior hockey, I think he'll have trouble converting over the the NHL. I think he could turn out to be a very good KHL player, but I don't see him cutting it in the NHL.
 
He'll be a good 3rd-5th round pick for a team looking to take a chance on a small, offensive player. His skill and vision out there is very high and watching him play against Canada and Russia he was very good. Quite a treat to watch with his skill and playmaking abilities.

He could become a Hudler-type of player if he develops properly. His size is an issue, but I think a team will take a mid-late round flier on him to see what he can do.
 
after WJC played 12 games and had 9g+11a 20p. Not bad. I guess he is slowly moving up the draft rankings. Have no idea what round it could be.
