That speed off the rush is simply electric. If Chytil can work on his puck possession and cycle-game, he could truly be a star.
Agreed, great speed off the rush and really nice hands in tight. Main thing he needs to do is get bigger, which should be pretty possible given his frame and age.

He’s 6’2-6’3 200 lbs, doesn’t need to get BIGGER but he needs to work on his upper body strength. He has every tool to become an elite player though and even has good IQ. His shot also needs work, it’s pretty weak and he needs to add volume to it, he’d be a sure fire elite player if he could improve his shot

I don't think he needs to improve his shot. He's not going to be a 40 goal scorer or anything like that, you either have that release or you don't. Or you are a generational player like McDavid who will score that many just because of how many scoring chances he gets. Chytil will score his goals from being so good around the net, and being able to get to the net when he wants to. Those hands and speed will get him a lot of good scoring chances around the net.

He needs to work on improving his defense, but he's an elite skater and has elite hands. Very good playmaker, decent creativity and a decent hockey IQ. Should be a first liner in the NHL, maybe a player who can play the middle of the ice.

Dynasty league, drafted both Chytil and Andersson, but moved Chytil in a late-season trade... Offensively speaking (as this league is exclusively points based), I'm still hoping I did the right thing.

He's good on the boards and down low below the goal line prying pucks loose on th Forecheck.

And as you mentioned, he's shown he can be really dynamic off the rush.

Question is will he put everything together and have the smarts and vision to see and make plays develop as an NHL center.

He is ok, today will by play.

He will play fourth line with Plekanec as center and Horak as LW against Austria tonight.

Not that impressive really. Teammate shot it right into his stick

jk that was dirty
from about what 20 out to redirect the puck like that I would say is fairly impressive

Nice goal by him here. Chytil’s been dominating in the second half of the game-1st half he was sloppy but so was everyone else honestly.

Good to hear, I watched some of that game, thought he looked worse than I remember him playing last year and changed to a different game. I've been really down on Chytil. I thought he had a pretty lousy rookie tourny, and hasn't looked great in camp. He went from being a player I thought could be a darkhorse calder contender to someone I thought wouldn't even crack the lineup. Hope he can figure things out in the next couple of weeks.
