Can not say that I agree. Canada have not been in semi-finals in WC in the last 5 years, they have not take a medal in WJC the last 2 years. How good players you have should be determined on the ice, not by who is best in creating hype around their players. If the team that according to "paper" lose time after time, then obviously the paper is wrong and you should change your mind about who has best player on paper.

Canada is however very good at creating hype around their players, in that department they are superior to everyone else, but hardly in reality (the ice). For me canada has the last years going from being the leader nation to falling behind the other top countries. I dont see them among top 3 anymore.

most comical post of the year 3 of the last 4 Olympics in dominate fashion last year mind you. Also missing Stamkos and Tavares.. And the point on Canada doing nothing but building hype for their players is even more comical. Take a gander at the top scorers year after year. notice a pattern? maybe then you can pull your head out of the sand.
