You're not pushing back against anti Melnyk talk by accusing me of criticizing him when I did no such thing.
I did not buy any 50/50s this year, as I said I didn't see it notice them advertised. I'm also old school, so 50/50 just seems more like a live event thing for me, not something that comes to mind when I look to make donations. I did donate to other charities though, because I was exposed to their drives for donations. Do I regret not buying 50/50s? Not really, CHEO got its money from me, as did other charities I chose to support.
I don't know why the 50/50 didn't do well, maybe the Charity focused on promoting more efficient means like direct donations, or maybe tv ratings were terrible and nobody saw them. Asking how they went about promoting was just looking to understand why it didn't bring in more. Nothing more, nothing less.
