I know it's nothing... but you already see his great skating ability. This guy can be a really good one!

Size, skating, work ethic, and his shot stands out big time. I said it before and will say it again... Hyman type of player IMO. Vision is not top end but he's going to cause a lot of turnovers with his work ethic, skating, and hard work. He just seems to bring it and he has finishing ability from the video I have seen.

It don't matter to me if he is a middle 6F or top 6F. This type of player makes things easier for his coach and his center. A moveable part you can place anywhere in the top 9F depending on where you need him to be.

I like this kid a lot. Doubt he is a 60 pts forward but he can be a 20-25 goal guy that does a lot of things that don't show up on the score sheet. I bet you his turnovers/60 will be an area of strength

More!!

Like I said before, i know it's nothing, but it's easy to see his skating ability.

More I watch him and more I really like the Toffoli trade. Heineman can be a pretty solid forward with his tools. He can play physical game, have speed, have shot and looks have good hands too.

I look forward to seeing him in game situation.

Some players are more than the sum of their parts and some are less. It seems he has solid tools, now we need to see the toolbox.

That's one long stick, I'm kinda amazed he manages to handle the puck at all with that.

Some players get used to it. MSL said one of the keys to him being able to be effective as a shorter player was to use a long stick...

A shorter stick, comparative to your height, allows for more in tight movements and fast reactions. A longer stick, again comparative, allows for heavier/faster shots when they are properly loaded up. Heineman seems far more a shooter than a playmaker so a longer stick is probably better.

There are plenty of low flex long sticks (sticks made for 6'2ish people with 50 flex) that aid in increasing wing span for shorter players while still allowing an absolute rocket.
