It's ok if Heineman play in SHL... He looks pretty good so far in SHL league. If he don't have looked good, that would be bad, but right now it's Habs or Leksand and i'm 100% ok with that.

Im hoping he’ll be closer to a Leks for us
I'm hoping he'll be better than a Lehks for us. I see Heineman as a potential Anderson + on the left side, with better D and boasting the same attributes; physicality, speed and a shot that can fool NHL Gs.

In fact, if we were able to land a power forward LW (Dubois?) to play with Suzuki and Caufield, I could see a legion of doom line of Heineman - Dach - Anderson.

If we pick top-5 in 2023, I see that C pivoting a line with Farrell on LW and Roy on RW.

So you see Slafkovsky on 4th line? If your lines is Dubois-Suzuki-Caufield, Heineman-Dach-Anderson and Farrell-Top5 2023-Roy.

Slafkovsky, Dach, Dubois, Heineman, Anderson, and a big Centre if they don't get Bedard, would be a team very hard to play against. Especially if some of the big defense prospects turn out.

Fukc, yeah, I somehow lost Slafkovsky in the shuffle there. lmao!

No, I wouldn't put him on a 4th line with Beck and Ylonen. :)

I'd have Slafkovsky in Farrell's spot, Farrell in Heineman's spot and Heineman on a 4th line with Beck and Ylonen, or Mesar on a line with Slafkovsky and Dvorsky and fares on Dach's LW with Roy on the RW.

I'd move Anderson for a RHD and play Heineman with beck and Ylonen on the 4th line.

Heineman is as likely to be a top 6er as Mysak and much less than Roy and Farrel

Theres also nothing hard about Dach
Dach is not a physical player, but he retrieves pucks and creates turnovers defensively, nonetheless and can gain the O-zone through center ice with his speed (not his physical play).

That's a lot of talent in forward group, i'm really hype about Slafkovsky, Suzuki, Caufield and Dach. Finally that's looks going to be a very solid top 6 for many years to come. I'm high on all this players (Suzuki and Caufield show already they can be fantastic), but i'm pretty high on Slafkovsky and Dach talent, they can be special aswell.

I really hope Habs can be a bottom team next year for the draft 2023, it's ok if it's not Bedard... that's a lot of talent in that top 10, i really like Yager, it's my favorite so far. Michkov, Fantilli, Dvorsky, Carlsson, Ritchie, Stramel... that's impressive.

Habs are going to be fun to watch one day, no doubt about that!

...keep forgetting we have him...hopefully, he makes the team and puts some pressure on some of the useless floaters we've collected in the Bargain Bin Era...
These "floaters" have contracts that are hard to get rid of. Armia could be traded for picks or players who have two way contracts. Heineman has already stated that it 's the Habs or his Swedish team next season. No Laval.

I do agree. It always worries me when a Finn or Swede has the option and chooses to resign over there.
Does he have the option? I thought the new transfer agreement between the NHL and Sweden states that only 1st round players can be assigned to the AHL, and others can't until they are 24 years old?

SHL is a mistake. If he went to Laval he could get called up and secure a roster spot. Not to mention getting acclimated to Montreal and the players.

I think that fits better for next season. Habs are too cluttered on wing but it will get better after next season with Dadonov, Drouin, Byron likely gone. Possible Hoffman and Armia are gone as well.

I'd be OK with Heineman in the SHL or AHL. But if he is in the AHL, I would not call him up unless is he producing top notch value right away. I value his game but doubt he shines that much that early.
