I thought the Domi and Bertuzzi additions were going to have more of an impact. Guys who can score, but don't need to as much on this team and could add the physical nature they needed.

I didn't get to watch the first game, but seems that's not the case.

Bertuzzi was a smart pickup for the Leafs, he should prove his mettle at some point in this series.

Domi is a vile mutant who needs a good beating from time to time, and then get the hose again.

Forbort, Wotherspoon and Lohrei are #7, #8 and #9 on Boston.

They'd all be dressed for Toronto. Hemming it up!

Forbort is back y'all! Brazeau sooooon
Forbort is horrible lmao, is he playing ? He has Zdeno Charas build with Jake Gardiners brain and skill, hopefully he's in

Nylander not taking line rushes this morning

He'd instantly start on your PK. Literally instantly.

He starts on OURS, and ours is GOOD.
He literally would not, the guy is the definition of a plug. All size and no brains. Bad positioning and bad stick, just very low IQ player, wouldn't mind him as the #6D or #7D but he's pretty bad overall, definitely wouldn't start on the pk.

I'm telling you he starts on our PK when dressed, and you think he wouldn't play yours?

Maybe you aren't aware that your PK is killing at 60% so far, and was 23rd in the regular season.

I mean I guess it's possible that you really don't know that? He's our #7, and our top 6 tower over yours. TOWER.

I'm sure he starts on for your PK, he's still a poor defender, big guy though so I imagine he's there to block shots and clear the front of the net.

I didn't say it was defining, just merely stating it didn't seem to help much so far, but also admitting that I didn't watch the game.

Seeing Matthews in person not get 70 btw was amazing and your angry fans tears quenched my thirst.

I like Bertuzzi so I hope so, I also like Domi, why don't you like him? Leaning towards it being off ice stuff rather than on ice.

Yes, the series was over after Monday. Any idea on who Marchand passes the cup to first ?

Nearly as factual as stating Toronto dominated the Bruins in game 1 or outshot them 6-0 to start it.

Forbort is also an upgrade on half of the Toronto defense, albeit a #6-7 at this point on the Bruins. Hardly a different maker and if not 100% healthy the Bruins are better off with the same as game 1.

Im so curious as to what happened to him. He had the third most ice time during the leafs final game of the season.

I think he had some sort of medical issue and they do not want to disclose it or HE does not want to. This reeks of he had surgery or treatment for something and he simply is not yet ready to go back in and play a game but he can now skate and practice. I bet he is in for game 3 or at worst game 4.

I expect Boston to kick Toronto's teeth in again, tonight. The Leafs weaknesses are fundamental and unlikely to be fixed with a hard practice or erasing the memory of G1. Little to puck movement from the D outside of Rielly, can't kill a penalty, offensive depth advantage muted if Nylander can't go, and lack a surefire thing in nets. I haven't been this sure the Leafs would lose in R1 since 2017.
