10% is a fake number. There is literally 0 statistical analysis to back this up. In fact, I'd guess that if you looked into teams that win the first 2 at home and then lost the next 2 on the road, still probably come out >50% of the time. So it's very likely that 50/50 is closer to the actual odds versus your absurd, pessimistic number.
Including Colorado, teams that win the first two games of the Conference Finals have a record of 92-7 in advancing to the Finals. And in a week or so it will be 93-7.

Not nearly as nervous for this one as I was for G3. I just knew that this team was going to reach deep into their bag of f***ery to find a way to bungle that game.

I think they get handled pretty easily tonight but its fine, they've played their best and pulled out games when they absolutely need to.

Strome needs to play. Rooney for Strome is a big problem.
Well, its not really Rooney for Strome, it would be Copp for Strome, and Goodrow(?) for Copp. Rooney would replace Goodrow as 4C.

Tampa has had issues with speed. If Goodrow goes and Strome doesn't, Hunt should be who comes in. But it won't be.

Rooney getting minutes instead of Strome is not what you want.

Worried Point is close too.

I still believe we win this series, when we play our game we're too fast for Tampa, but we are gonna go down in flames in the final, Colorado is just too good.

Id argue it should be Brodzinski myself.

Colorado hasn't faced a goalie as good as Shesty in the playoffs. Blues were giving them some issues until Binnington went down. With Shesty and our team defense, we've got a chance. That said, their offense is indeed lethal.

I say play Hunt intstead of Strome, play Copp as Center.
Have the Kid line get more minutes.
Let strome rest an extra two days.
I agree. Looks like from the injury it was a muscle thing in his quad or inner thigh.
If it's gonna effect his skating then put in Hunt and move Copp to center. Or move Motte to Panarin's line and put Hunt on the 4th line since he's not a top 6 guy.

Look forward to hearing what Draisaitl was playing through because he looked like he was about to die after every shift.
Yea, that was nuts. Anytime he got tapped he could barely stand. Yet, guy was still whipping passes and racking up points. Awesome performance from him.

He hasn't been able to all season, which is a worry. Posters observed he was not in great physical shape coming out of pre-season and he really hasn't gotten that much better. This makes me wonder how significant the injury from the Wilson smash really was. And if not that, what the issue really is.

I also wonder how much of a lasting impact the Wilson incident left on him physically & mentally. He shies away from contact quite noticeably where as before he wasn't the most physical player, he wasn't afraid to get hit.

As a person who was on TB in games 1 and 2 as an emotional hedge, but not game 3... I just made the game 4 bet. Here's hoping my wallet's lighter by 11:00pm.
Anyone want a sure fire Rangers win tonight? If I bet on them. Used to be quite the gambler, gave it up for sex. Haven't wagered in well over 20 years. I'd be willing to give all that up (but, not the sex part) and a BENJAMIN for a game 4 win. But if I do, I simply don't know where that will lead. That will be on you guys. :help:

Hell, this is why I avoid the actual live game threads sometimes when the Rangers are currently losing
McRanger #doesn'tdoPGTafterlosing
Rangerfan4life90 #doesn'tdolivegamethreads
LarryBiv #doesn'tdoeither

Cannot understand how anyone can enjoy a live hockey game to the fullest AND text their posts.
PGT's are fine the day/night after. People are too angry/emotional/drunk/disenchanted and spew utter nonsense.
It's negative, unfair to all that are reading and more importantly unfair to the players that normally give so much enjoyment.
Sure I am unhappy with losses, especially losses that seem like they don't give a hoot. Doesn't happen often, and I don't ever wanna be labeled a hypocrite, which is what is going on here, all to often. Maybe my definition of a fan is different than others.
Sorry if this hurts someone's feelings or sounds degrading.

This is twice now you've posted this...I expect this from Snowblind, not you.
