Kreider was on a breakaway skating 22 miles per hour and his main focus was not scoring the goal to give his team a 3-0 lead. He was trying to run over Price. Very funny.

you can CLEARLY see a few cam angles where the stick is wacking his skates. without a doubt he was trying to score. I expect a lot of PP's tonight.

Great now even if we do Win the series, the haters will pin it due to an injury to price. Lol

A part of me feels bad for Price. Likeable player.

Hank better be ready for the ****storm that's coming.

We are definitely the favorites to win the series now. However, doesnt mean we are certain to win. Montreal will probably play a lot looser now that they are big underdogs. Who knows, maybe Budaj comes in and plays out his ass. We cant get cocky!

Trying to stay out of this as a Habs fan, but I'm confused at this line of reasoning and have been seeing it a lot. Who is saying that his intent was to NOT score a goal? People are arguing that in trying to score a goal he was being reckless.
Note: not trying to argue if that's true or not, just trying to understand this line of reasoning where people claim that because he was trying to score a goal means that he wasn't being reckless.

Montreal has a rather small team so unleash Dorsett and/or Carcillo to answer retaliatory attacks. They're not the best fighters but they'll get the job done. Kreider will have to have his head on a swivel and protect himself. As far as Lundqvist, his protection relies heavily on the D keeping the Cryadiens from crashing the net and try to keep the puck pinned in montreals zone. This just got real interesting.

Exactly. Here is a quote from someone from the Canadiens board.

"Look at the bright side, if rangers win series there'll be an asterix that follows "conference champs".

I said that " if I don't recall some team beating another team this playoffs who was without their number 1 goalie."

If I'm not mistaken, he has shut us out.

Kreider, enemy number one. I wouldn't be caught wearing his jersey at the Bell Centre tonight. This is going to be a really telling game. So excite.

I am sorry but that teams sounds like 25 Sidney Crosby's. Man the **** up. It's hockey, I would be embarrassed if the Rangers cried like this.

You would have been embarrassed.

No way our side would not be doing the same.

This board would be spouting flames if it were reversed. Just the way it is.

Is this real??

How quick can we get a goon called up and on a plane? haha

Ol' Chris Kreider should slow down he's playing that there hockey game too darn fast! He was also tripped.

Tonights game is gonna be a wild one...

Expect prust to hack and whack at everyone and theire mother...

I also expect this to motivate them..

Tonight could be a goon fest indeed..they can "afford" a suspension to send a message...

Kreider is going to have to watch his back tonight, which is unfair considering it's not his fault people love to trip him into goalies.

Okay and who gives a ****? He was trying to score a goal, the object of the game and was doing it the way many before him have by using his speed to drive to the net. Blame your defenders for tripping him causing a reckless play. Thanks for stopping by, cy@.

Now that price is out, the canadiens will be gunning for Kreider.

Too bad for them that none of them can catch him, and only a few can reach his head.

Again, I'm not arguing any of that. It's fine, differences of opinion, just trying to understand the logic behind the whole he was trying to score, therefore it wasn't reckless argument.
