I don't want this series to turn into a goonfest. I know the rangers won't take the bait but I also don't want them to take countless cheap shots and get banged up going hopefully into the next round.

Yup. The gloves are about to come off. They're going to be gunning for Kreider and Hank now. At least Montreal aren't being political anymore and actually saying how they really feel.

He says that like it's a bad thing. There's nothing wrong with a little reckless play now and then.

Also... I watched a TSN video where they showed him knocking into Craig Anderson as evidence of Kreider's supposed penchant for going at goalies. They used this play as evidence :laugh:

The media gives their readers what they want. Hockey has far less fans in NY than the other sports. Get over it and be happy about it.

If there were more hockey fans here, ticket prices would go even higher. Who wants that?

Kreider was on a breakaway skating 22 miles per hour and his main focus was not scoring the goal to give his team a 3-0 lead. He was trying to run over Price. Very funny.
 
Well there is really no excuse the Rangers don't win now. I mean talk about an opportunity here. Just don't get caught up in the stupid.
 
Funny thing is that the Montreal fans were all saying how there really isn't a rivalry or any hate between them and the Rangers. Well, if we beat them now the hatred is going to be dialed up to 100 for the foreseeable future. We'll be the "dirty" team who intentionally took out their star goalie in the Eastern Conference Finals.

We really need to protect Lundqvist, I hope the refs are on top of the situation.
 
Carey Price being out for the series doesn't mean ****.

Per Rishaug, Dreger and John Lu, Therrien announced in French to media few mins ago

Let me be first to say it really sucks that their goalie is not in the net. It is disappointing for them. The Rangers need to find a way to capitalize on this now
